“Post Office visit #300 On the way to a festival passing through and stop at Stonewall Post Office. Robert L. Cochran was a Georgia man who settled Stonewall first by opening up a trading post. Then the Post Office was established in 1858 and the settlement was then named Stonewall in honor of confederate war general Stonewall Jackson. A very nice, clean, and well took care of Post Office. The people here do a great job keep up the good work.”
