“Needs to be better stocked missing so many items it's sad but the staff is always friendly and helpful. I don't go here anymore because they don't stock the product they sell they give you what they want to not what you want or need”

“Love this mini Walmart. Nice & clean, organized, stocked store. Love the seasonal decor they carry. Not all groceries are a bargain, and watch the expiration date of batteries, food, etc. But it is a blessing to have this store in our small community.Only complaint, I'm handicapped and the only area that has no curb and handicapped parking is at the very far end of the store. Makes no sense. Also, no automatic door openers. So you have to fight if you're handicapped and your hands are full of bags.”

“We are so happy to have our Dollar General Store! This is Grand Lake of Oklahoma area. Many people come here. We don't have any other stores in this town for necessities. The dollar store is perfect to get things to eat or things to make their stay complete. We live here full time and stop in often because they are friendly and usually have what we are looking for. Theirs one big problem! The parking lot has such huge holes in it theirs hardly anyway to get in and out with out your vehicle falling in one of them. The really big one could damage a vehicle. When full of rain you wouldn't know it was so deep. Looking forward to seeing this company fix the problem! Thank You”

“I approached the manager, I believe it was on Tuesday or Wednesday of this week. It was around the first or middle of the week to pay a compliment to one of the employees. As I was trying to describe to her the employee, she replied to me, a customer, “oh you mean the one that does more talking than work”. And she had an attitude and a very negative look on her face as she said it. Again, I was just a customer trying to pay a compliment. I didn’t think that’s the kind of thing that a manager should say to a customer. I will continue to shop at Dollar General for the moment for a lot of reasons, but if something is not done about this lady, and Ive had other people say the same things about her, I will stop doing business there. She just not a friendly person. As I said, I will start going somewhere else and I believe a few of my friends will do the same. Again, there’s some pretty good employees there. There’s some that are great employees. There’s some that are very friendly and will visit. But I see them doing their job as well as being friendly to customers with the exception of the manager. She really has an attitude issue. She’s certainly not a people person. My name is Charles and I will be contacting the district manager as well as the corporate office on Monday.”
