I had a great experience with MFA Oil. The person who helped me set up my account and then schedule the appointment was extremely helpful. They reconfirmed the appointment prior to arrival. The driver was running late so they called with a revised ETA. When they arrived, they explained everything to me and the refill on my 1,000 propane tank was quick and easy. My experience was outstanding!!

2-24-21In answer to your response...No you did not speak with me.... However.... I do understand about putting your established clients first. And yes I get that... On the other hand... When someone buys a home and the only source of heat is propane and the previous owners completely drain the propane so you have no heat one turns to the ones who they had faith in that could help keep their pets and children warm and are told there's no warmth coming anytime soon for the little ones that's pretty much what I'm trying to say...2-22-21There not accepting new clients until the end of March.... Dang... I have several family members who have been with this company for a while and since we were just moving to Oklahoma we were going to carry on the family tradition. Looks as though it won't be the case this time.

I will not do business with them ever again. I purchased propane from them last year when I lived in a rental house. My landlord recommended them. I had called and made an appointment they were supposed to be out on a Friday afternoon before a major cold front moved through that night. They never showed up that day and my daughter and I had to sleep in our living room with a space heater to keep warm. I called and expressed my concerns earlier that afternoon about the cold and told Maggie that I didnât think it was fair to charge me full price when they canât meet their appointment she said they normally didnât do it but âwe can add the referral to your balance.â They showed up on Saturday at about 2:00 in the afternoon finally. The gentleman who filled my tank also came inside to light my pilot lights but stated his eyesight was poor and he wasnât sure if he could get them all lit. He flooded my house with propane and only got one pilot light lit, I had two others. Which is illegal theyâre not supposed to leave until all pilot lights are lit and deemed safe. When it came time to pay the driver I was supposed to have a $50 credit on the bill for a referral from my landlord. The balance was approximately $163 and I paid $113 thinking the balance was paid in full. A few months later Iâm checking my credit and I find that they have reported a $50 balance to the credit bureauâs. I would not recommend them because obviously theyâre crooked and donât believe in good customer service. So not only did they not apply the balance of the $50 owed to me they pocketed it and hit my credit because I never got it! Beware!

We've used MFA for years and have had a great experience...until now.Over a month ago, MFA sent a driver out to deliver propane to our house. The regular driver has always been great, but they must have sent a different driver out. He backed into and crushed our double chainlink gate. Our adult daughter was home and saw what he had done. By the time she could get her phone to call her mom, the driver had completed the delivery, jerry-rigged the gate back in place and left.Initially the manager said he would take care of it, but when he saw the photos of the damage, he decided to turn it over to their insurance company. Besides, he said that the driver doesn't remember hitting your gate. After more than a month (mind you our property is fenced because we have livestock, so we've had to rig the gate to keep them in and it's been a pain for us to get in and out due to the rigging), the insurance company (Liberty Mutual) has denied the claim stating that the driver said he didn't hit the gate and she added, "besides, the truck is too tall to hit your gate".He RAN IT OVER WITH HIS REAR TIRES on one side, crushing the entire bottom tubing. ?I worked in the transportation industry for over 25 years (and still hold a CDL) before becoming a Registered Nurse. In life, I've learned that the best way to conduct yourself and your business is with integrity and honesty.MFA Propane is demonstrating neither.
