A wonderful and helpful man named Ryan H prompted this review. I needed some help with pricing and he also helped me with the check out process and a return. Each time he was polite and efficient and very personable. He is an asset to this establishment and an ambassador to his profession.

Ace is a great place to find the oddball screw, nut or bolt for projects.
The staff is helpful. Another plus is that I didn't need to go see Louie at the home Depot or Lowe's.

First I went in there asking for help with my shop vac. The first associate, I later come to find out, gave me the incorrect equipment. The second time I went in there, the second associate ignored me at first but then finally came to assist me. Assisting is putting it generously. I asked about the equipment and he said it was the wrong filter and then wouldn't tell me what equipment I did need and then I just went back to the section for Shop-Vac filters and got frustrated because I couldn't find what I needed. If you need excellent customer service, this is not the place where you will get it

Went in at 7:30 (store closes at 8). 3 store employees were gathered at the checkout talking. Store had only a few customers. Had to interrupt to ask if the store had Gaffers tape. Google had indicated the store carried it. One of the employees looked on his phone and suggested an aisle. The three continued their conversation. No attempt to help me find it - which is ok I guess, I’m just used to Home Depot employees offering to go with me to help me find something. Went there and the aisle had nothing to do with what I was looking for.

Always good to go to a hardware store where professional staff are happy to work there and are helpful. I do also shop at the big box stores and it is difficult to find people who work there.
