They take way too long, stand around, and seem very uninformed.

Yesterday was bad….. and I mean really bad! It all started with a cashiers check from another bank a mile down the road. (By the way…. Cashiers checks are not honored as cash at Arvest, so you may as well just get a money order and save yourself the extra charge) I digress. I had made a deposit for a significant amount of money so that I could pay my HVAC installers and painter working on my new home. Instead Arvest put a hold on the check (they claimed it was because of the amount….. but 1 month earlier I had deposited a check for an even greater amount and it was available the next day) anyway… due to the inconsistency of the situation I called Arvest. The lady on the phone was kind and understanding, but unable to really assist since it was 7:30am when I had discovered the issue. I then went to the branch at 9am. Victoria the manager was not going to be in until 10:30. I came back at 1:30…. “She’s at lunch til 2.” , then Gail called to tell me she had a meeting from 2-3 and to come then . Then at 3 I arrived and sat for 45 minutes while Victoria chatted on the phone. An employee finally came out to tell me she would be on the phone for a while and they would give my number to her to call. Then the girl told me there was nothing they could do today because of how late it was. This is when I finally showed emotion because i had been trying since 7:30am to get this rectified…….as You may have guessed it…. No phone call from the manager . I had been working all day trying to get the funds released on a cashier’s check from a local bank (because that is what an Arvest EMPLOYEE told me to do) I have never been so angry in my life.

This is the most unprofessional bank I have ever dealt with. I am constantly amazed with the caliber of people they employ at this location. Have banked there for 20 plus years and think it’s absolutely time to change!!!

Personally I never had a problem here at this bank. The people here are great! Also David needs a raise!! Everytime we’re in he says hi and just smiles. Like you can tell when there is a difference when someone smiles at you, and when they don’t want too. But this guy actually cares! Also, thanks Arvest for being a good bank to me and my family! Y’all are worth staying for!

I loved the customer service but just dont understand why they charge so much to cash thier own checks with them, other than that I am always taken care of with exceptional service.

I come through for the commercial services and this is the only branch that I have issues at. The lady I always seem to get acts like I'm a bother and when she helps me, she says "it'll be awhile before you're helped" and 5 cars come and go before me. When I say thank you she just says "mhm" turns off the mic and walks away. Representing a business when I come through and being treated this way is ridiculous. Makes me not want a eprsonal account. If you don't like your job, find a new one.

I recently opened an account at the 61st and Lynn Lane location and never received my debit card. After nearly a month of trying to figure out what was going on, I was referred to this location. Katie was so nice and happy to help. She printed a card for me and I was out of there within 10 minutes. To avoid wait times, go during the lunch hour!

Rude staff, and they tell me to wait and they will be with me in a minute and always forget about me. This has happened 5 times now. I always have to ring the button 2 times because they NEVER come back when they say they will.

Too long of a wait at the drive-thru during rush hour. They should staff appropriately for peak hours. Staffing issues?

Closed my account after zero balance in less than the standard 90 days. I had that account for years. Then they wouldn't print me a debit card immediately for a new account even after I called their corporate office. Oh yes. They can print them and should offer that as an option to all their customers. Now I have to wait 7-10 business days for the card. So, I just deposited the minimum balance of 50$. The account will be used when useful to me. That's how this works. They claim you have to have an established relationship in order to get a card printed. They claim it's for fraud protection, but I feel it's just a power trip thing they do bc they don't realize their place. They'll take my money and make 10x off of it while I sit here with basically nothing. That's what this is really about. Money. Making as much money off me as possible during that 7-10 days when they have access to my capital. The only reason I'm banking with them is that they have so many branches and atms. That's it because their service is poor and their APY is almost non existent. Their hours are constantly getting worse and they close every chance they get at the mention of a holiday. I'll find a better credit union soon, but I'll be sticking with this WalMart monopoly for a few weeks because I need a debit card.

The only reason I give this Arvest branch three stars is because of one very helpful blonde lady. Rude staff. I've been an Arvest customer for over 25 years and haven't witnessed this behavior elsewhere.

We went through the Drive-thru and the process went fairly quickly. There was a Car in front of us (in the lane for Trucks/Vans), so we had to wait 8-10 minutes. After the previous Customer completed their business, we were able to speak with the Banker and it took Less than 5 minutes to complete our transaction. The male Teller was Friendly, Professional and Courteous......Thanks Arvest!??

Went to another Branch this time and didn't have nearly the problems I had at the branch off of 91st and Elm. This one was on on the corner of Aspen and Kenosha. No problems whatsoever and was able to make my transaction as usual.

Terrible customer service. I wanted to get some ones and won’t let me do it because account is in my wife’s name. Went next door to BOK and got my ones in 4 minutes. Way nicer lady and quick!
