I was unsure if I wanted to take on the responsibility of an Axolotl, but my husband really wanted one. With the help of Susan and Jermey I felt more comfortable knowing what all it would entail. We bought a cute guy named Roger and he’s thriving! He’s part of the family now! I highly recommend Axolotl’s Tulsa! They are truly kind people and have all kinds of different/neat items to customize your tank.

They are extremely helpful and our boys cherish their axolotls. They are equipped to educate potential buyers by allowing everyone that comes in to interact with the axolotls.

My husband and I bought my daughter her axolotl here and the owners are so nice and helpful any questions we have or concerns they answer I love that they have everything for a first time axolotl owner they provide a booklet and they have videos makes it so easy and understandable for us to take care of our beautiful axolotl.

Drove all the way to the store while it showed they were open online and no sign posted on the door to say when it would be open/that they were closed. Nothing posted online to say they were closed, door was simply locked. Disappointed because it’s quite a drive from us.Edit to add* the owners did post on their Facebook they were going to be closed 6 hours prior their opening time, day of, due to inclement weather the day before. However, I wasn’t aware they had a Facebook at the time and was looking on their online website SPECIFICALLY to see if there were any closures and nothing was posted. They had no mention of a Facebook account or social media anywhere on their website. Only a cellphone number posted? After my initial negative review the owners posted about it on their Facebook (hence the multiple positive reviews right after this) I was originally going to give the store a second chance with an updated review since I’ve been wanting to go here for months, but seeing the owners post and the drama that ensued from current customers responses just reaffirms I will take my business elsewhere. I’d be most definitely not welcomed here.

This is one of the best stores in Tulsa. They have a great selection of Axolotls and all of the things you need to keep them healthy and happy. The owners are very knowledgeable and helpful. They want to educate you and not just sell you.

Went to this store after seeing a post on Facebook about it. What a treat! Unique candies, gift ideas, plush axlotl's, and REAL axlotl's!!! The couple that owns/runs the business are very friendly, down-to-earth, and knowledgeable. Their prices are also very competitive. Highly recommend stopping by if you have the chance!

I love this place. My wife bought an axolotl from them without discussing it with me, but it's the coolest little animal. They're easy to take care of and this place makes sure you have everything you need to get started all the way down to the water. They're very helpful if you have questions/concerns, and they really know what they're talking about, unlike a lot of chain pet stores. Added bonus the husband that owns the store also makes freeze dried candy.

My husband and I came into this location looking for an axolotl,I've only wanted one for years ! Needless to say Susan and Jeremy are very caring people and know what they're doing ! Any question I asked about axolotls they had answers for , not to mention they have really fantastic deals for their tank setups , I picked this little guy out and named him Kiko :)
