My boyfriend and I spoke with Tina at the front desk Friday afternoon about me staying an additional day (Saturday). She forgot to tell Mary, the manager, who called my boyfriend Saturday AM to find out if we were staying an additional day (didn’t mention anything about my dog). I contacted Tina after my son’s graduation to let her know I was staying and that I would come pay as soon as I could. She mentioned that there was a dog in my room (tiny chihuahua) and that a pet deposit had not been paid. I told her I would pay it when I paid the additional night. When I went to pay Tina she insisted the manager had entered my room to see if we were staying an additional day (because Tina didn’t tell her we had notified her the previous day I was staying) and found my dog, but she never mentioned the dog when she contacted my boyfriend about me staying an additional night. She “supposedly” tried to run my card for $100, but according to my card company she charged my card $120. I asked her to run $90, but she ran my card for $118. I was paying partially on a card and partially cash. This happened several times. I was loading my things to leave and Tina stood at my door watching me and would barely move out of the doorway for me to take a load to my vehicle. While I was outside Tina took it upon herself to grab my Louis Vuitton suitcase out of my room, but didn’t bother to zip it up so when I picked it up my clothes fell out on the nasty hallway floor. She barely allowed me access to get my Louis Vuitton bag. She made threats about “starting stuff” with her, called the cops, and charged my card a $60 pet deposit after I left even though it was only supposed to be $50. After I leave I realize I didn’t get my clothes out of the closet. I called Tina about getting them and she refused. I had to have Tulsa PD come out to get my clothes out of the room. I have already filed a threat report online with the Tulsa PD and I will be contacting corporate offices Monday.

Worst place ever to stay in Tulsa. Looks very rundown, doesn’t look like the pictures. Female Manager very rude and disrespectful, wasn’t even if appropriate clothing to be a Manager, didn’t know adidas tights were appropriate, wouldn’t stay if I was you. If I could give negative stars I would.

Hotel is nice, however, check your folio when you leave. I found two discrepancies when reconciling a credit card statement. When I asked them about it, they kept circling and not addressing the issue and would not listen, kept trying to talk over me.

I am disabled, and I have a service animal which at first tried to charge me a pet fee, then asked me for medical documentation for the animal, I refused to give that, but told her I could give her the registration number, she refused telling me the documents were a requirement. The woman even asked me what services my dog preforms, I felt as though she didn't believe my dog was a service dog so I answered her disclosing my medical conditions. I then told her that she had just violated HIPAA, and I would be making a complaint. She then tells me, that we can stay, but the general manager will want to see me in the morning to discuss if I should have to pay a "PET" fee. Once in out room, the woman knocked on the door letting us know she was putting a sign on out door that said PET INSIDE.

Nearby activities: Lots of restaurants and other businesses very close... walking distance.Walkability: YesNoteworthy details: The 71st Street corridor is one of Tulsa's busiest six lane roads; be patient and allow a few extra minutes during rush hour.

Great room, with lots of counter space, love the bed and pillows. Some features are old, but with some updates, the room is kept very clean.

Staying with my kids on emergency trip and the master bedroom has no airflow, there’s a fan that doesn’t work, only the main room cools down, fridge was dirty….and there’s a hateful person that made us wait at the glass for 45 minutes wearing a clown costume sitting at the front desk…and she was the rudest person I have ran into in my last 50 ihg stays…highly disappointedAnd response to your idiotic comment manager, it was your employee that was rude and hateful to me for no reason so shove this comment and her clown nose up your a$$.

I expected better. Rooms are spacious but was not clean. Bed was made with dirty sheets that you could tell was fresh dried blood not an old stain. Dishes and eating utensils was used and placed back in drawers and cabinets dirty. AC works half the time. Dishwasher leaks across the floor. Stayed on a weekend and it was so loud, no rest at all. People in room above us sounded like they was dropping stuff and rearranging furniture all night long. Reserved for 4 nights but checked out after only 1 night due to everything mentioned above. Not understanding how such a rundown place stays in business in this area. Very sketchy looking and acting guests here, does not feel safe at all. Type of environment you would expect to see at 31st and memorial area not 71st ST area. If not from Tulsa, I do not recommend staying here. My dad's IHG points that was used, should really be given back to him, especially since the room was left in better condition than what it was given to us in.

Our recent stay at Candlewood Suites was exceptional. The staff was very service oriented and responsive. In particular, we'd like to recognize Kelsey and Jeremy for going above and beyond. Our room was clean and comfortable. The complimentary washer/dryer was an added bonus. We would highly recommend Candlewood to business and/or vacation travelers/guests.

My wife and I lost our home to a house fire recently and we stayed at this establishment the first few days after the fire. These guys were great and tried to give us the best deal possible for our money. Thanks to everyone there for being so hospitable to us, we greatly appreciate you.

Pet friendly? I don't think so. My RV died in Kentucky so I was travelling in a UHaul with my 2 small dogs and 3 birds in one cage and needed a place to stay in Tulsa. The reservation center checked and were told Candlewood Suites would take all five animals. What I wasn't told was that they are charging me $75 PER animal. When the young woman checking me in (who was very nice and sympathetic) saw how upset I was she offered to ask Mary Brown, the General manager, if they would charge for just one bird since all three were in the same cage. Mary Brown said, no, so I paid $375 for my birds to stay one night. I am not happy. That just seems greedy and definitely not fair. What damage will me birds do in their cage? Greedy, greedy, greedy. Oh, and P.S., I have reservations the next two nights at two different Motel 6 ... taking all pets at no extra charge. Now THAT's pet friendly.
