God bless everyone at this pharmacy! I called 24 pharmacies and I finally got a winner who was able to compound my medication. They got on my prescription right away to compound it, and I felt awful for calling them so many times to check on the status. Nevertheless, they were very kind and rushed quickly as I needed this medicine urgently. I drove almost an hour to get to this pharmacy and when I got there, I was greeted with much kindness. Also, they have an amazing store with all kinds of essential oils, candles, organic soaps, organic washes, any many other great items.
Overall I am very satisfied and greatly appreciative for getting this medicine for me.

It took them a full 24 hours to fill one compounded prescription for an antibiotic, which I needed sooner rather than later. The people were nice, but the service was less than stellar. If you need something quickly, this isn’t the place to go.

Their products are fine and I can get what i need at an ok price but their customer service or phone staff such. They have mad attitude for no reason on multiple occasions when their system is confusing as hell or they made a mistake (they fixed the mistake but were super rude about it like it was my fault they lost my order). Last time I got a refill the person on the phone said they set up auto refill for me and then I just discovered that didn't happen when I noticed I was down to 9 days of pills and when I called to see what was up the woman had so much attitude to me and I was so polite just trying to see if the order was on its way or what was going on. I feel so frustrated and angry that every little aspect of Healthcare has to be so aggressive and stressful all the time. Honestly might just wean off the meds and be sick to not have to deal!

Clean store, friendly staff but the only downfall seems to be all the extra stuff you can buy OTC. Like kitchen towels, candy, candles, everything. Just a little overwhelming when you visit for the first time.

The women are rude on the phone. I have tried for three days to get my perscription. Everytime I call, they say they don't have the perscription, then they find it and tell me it will be the next day and they will call me. I didn't get called by 2 pm. Again, they say they don't have the perscription. I have to insist they do. They look, come back on the phone say they don't have it. I insisted. She is not happy, but goes to look again. Comes back and she has found it. But, it won't be done till the end of the day. I say by 5, she has to ask. I Don't know what is going on there, but crabby women who are VERY disorganized work there, and don't care about you. It is a cancer drug I needed. I am suppose to be able to get it today. We will see. I am NEVER going back there, and I don't recommend anyone else does either.

This was a great place, pharmacy. The only problem I had was that a lot of times I was told that the prescriptions I needed wasn't on the formulary list or was a different tier and end would having to pay more. After two or three times like this, I took my prescriptions to Walgreens and they were on the formulary list and they were the lowest teir and paid the lowest price. So I didn't know what was going on with CareFirst concerning that.

Switched here after my first visit. They are so quick. They are also so extremely friendly. The kinda place that knows your name. If you go in you get a small drink with purchase of script free. They also sale fudge and will give out samples. The store also has some nice things to look at while you wait your max 10 mins.

This pharmacy will cheat you out of your money! I had been without insurance and paying cash for my prescriptions for almost a year and when my insurance took effect I tried to fill my prescriptions under my insurance it was denied. I had to ask the pharmacy to do a Prior Authorization (which they should have done on their own, without me having to ask them to do so) then when it was denied I asked them why they gave me reasons insurance companies don't cover the medications in question. Then 2 months later I transferred them to Walmart, and without even having to do a PA all of a sudden my medications were covered, no hassle or hurdles, they just covered it. In short, they just wanted me to keep paying full cash price so they could keep selling to me without regard to the fact that I was spending $300/mo with them when I'm now paying $30/mo. CareFirst, HA!! MORE LIKE CareLess or CareLast! Unbelievable, and you should be ashamed of yourselves!!

Care First is the best! Needed a specialized script for an exact dosing of a medicine primarily used for adults but needed for a child with special circumstances. The smallest dose available from the manufacturer and available at chain stores was to much and creating side effects that out weighed the intended benefit of the drug. Care First worked with our physician to compound an exact smaller dose based off weight and have continued to work with the doctor to adjust the medicine in small increments with growth and the compounded meds have made life much better. From first call to follow ups with the clinic now years later Care First’s staff has been amazing. We’re lucky to have a pharmacy with this kind of service in our community.

The best pharmacy I've ever been to in my life. With most pharmacies that I've been to, they often tend to neglect a customer/patient's need or dismiss their concerns about certain medications and what not. This pharmacy goes above and beyond by providing that extra step of help. For example, usually when pharmacies are short of the 30 pills that I need for a prescription, they tell me that If I really needed them that they will only be able to give me that short of amount. That's it. No reimbursement of the full prescription. With this Pharmacy, they informed me they were short AND will call me with the rest as soon as it comes in (2 day wait). How surprisingly kind is that? Thank you Carefirst and I appreciate all the hospitality.

Unfortunately I had to use this pharmacy because the medication needed was a compound. First I dropped off my medication and was told it wouldn't be covered by my insurance (BCBS) because they don't cover compounds. I dropped my medication off on a Thursday and was told it would be ready the next day, I never received a phone call that day and figured I would give them over the weekend and call to check on Monday. Come Monday afternoon I still hadn't received a call so I called to check and was told the compound was finished in the lab but just needed to be packaged for me. I asked again if they had confirmed from my insurance that the medication was not covered and was told it would not be, I decided to call my insurance to check and see what the issue was and was told that the medication was covered but the pharmacy was told that they just needed to get a pre-auth from the doctor - I guess that was to much to ask from CareFirst to follow protocol in order to get my medication covered but thankfully I called myself to check with my insurance and did all the leg work and got the claim filed properly. Well after all this it is now Wednesday and they still do not have my medication filled. I will definitely not be using this pharmacy again.
