I brought my 2014 CTS-V in for front end damage. Wanting my vehicle back because it had been in the shop for a few weeks, I called them on the previously estimated day of completion, a Friday, to see if it was ready for pickup. They told me it would be ready for pickup by the end of the day so I went down to pick it up. Once I arrived, I was told it was still getting detailed and they were finishing it up - okay. No problem as I understood they needed to finish. Once completed they brought it around to the front and I went out to check the work that had been done, a few things were immediately noticeable: When I got there the V badge on the driver door was peeling off. The advisor said he had not had a chance to inspect the vehicle before they brought it around and delivered it to me. This was fine; I was excited to get the car back and I understood. He came out with the new badge and put it on the car immediately and I was fine with this. However when he went in to check on something I started to do a more detailed inspection of the car and I noticed the following: The interior had greasy handprints on the B pillar, there was a large greasy smudge on the inside of the driver door, the plastic engine shield under the motor was not attached properly, and the cover to my intake filter box was in my back seat. While I understand he had not had time to do an inspection of the car, it would have been better had they simply told me the vehicle would not have been ready. By trying to rush, things were left unfinished.Things only continued to get worse once I got home and was able to look at my car in different lighting. This led me to find what is one of the worst hood spray jobs I have ever seen. I took it back and told them all my concerns and was told they would address them all. When I got my car back the second time the hood was better (it still had some dust marks near the front but barely visible, but nothing as bad as it had been - i mean, it would have been better if it were just correct, period). Once I picked up the vehicle more issues came to light when I got it home: The engine shield fell down again, both brake ducts fell out and are now lost, neither the smudge on the door nor the handprints on the B pillar were cleaned and my dash camera was unplugged. But the most egregious error? My car was COVERED FRONT TO BACK, in overspray, both paint and clear-coat. Instead of removing the hood and re-spraying it, they put my whole car in the booth and did a poor job of wrapping it. It was so bad, in fact, my insurance company had me take it to a professional detailer and have them spend 14 hours or more removing it all (of which two detailers said it was one of the worst overspray cases they had ever seen - so it was noticeable indicating the vehicle had again, not been inspected before delivery for quality control). All that to say based on my experience I cannot recommend and will not be using this company again for any repair work and hesitate to bring it back even if I need warranty repair for their work. I am very dissatisfied and Gerber should be ashamed of the service they provided.Service: Body & Trim

I took my car here to get a simple side mirror replaced. After getting the estimate, I was told I could bring my own part if I could find the right fit and it would take about an hour to fix. So I purchased the part and made an appointment with them to fix it. Upon going to my scheduled appointment, I am then told that they do not use “customer supplied parts” and that they didn’t even have me scheduled to do the repair at all even though I got multiple confirmations of the appointment I had scheduled. They did nothing to fix the situation and just sent me on my way.. what a huge, disappointing waste of time.**UPDATE**I called a different business and they were able to fix my situation within the hour of leaving this location. But after seeing my review, Gerber collision called me 2 weeks later (just once) and left a voicemail. Then immediately responded to this review saying my phone was disconnected, which is untrue.

Allen and Drew went above and beyond to help us out with our Kia door handle. Not only did they do it on the spot but they refused to charge me what a blessing this company is. I highly recommend you go and see them if you ever need assistance from a collision they will defiantly take care of you.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I’m so mad at Progressive and Gerber Collision & Glass on 51st in Tulsa Ok right now!!!Someone shot my vehicle 5 times. You all had my radiator replaced.. not to mention the repair person broke my dash. The vehicle is not fixed! I called the day I picked it up to let you all know about the oil gauge showing that it was between 60 and 80 when it usually would be on 40. I had no idea what that meant at the time so I pulled over to a Oreillys where that young gentleman told me it prob had too much oil. So I call progressive and tell them…but now that I’ve google it m.. the gauge thing means my vehicle isn’t getting enough oil to the engine…and my truck is breaking down. I turned it back into the shop to see if they would fix what they should have in the first place. Weeks go by with me leaving voicemails at the shop and with the claims rep.. no response. Today I call the shop and she doesn’t even see my vehicle being in their systems other than Oct when it was initially in. Says the rep is out today and will be for the weekend but she will give me a call on Monday if I haven’t heard anything yet. So I hang up with Gwrber collision and call Progressive where I find that they put notes in TODAY saying that there were no further damages from bullets. My truck is regularly maintained and has 162,592 miles on it. It had no problems until the day it was shot. Now it’s not running after “being repaired”Edit: Mr. Willard from Gerber contacted me. After much discussion I feel Gerber did what they were able to do with the monetary values provided for work approved by Progressive. Mr. Willard additionally changed my air conditioning valve while here, as a complimentary service, to better accommodate me to their abilities. I do still have anger towards Progressive but I feel Gerber Collision and Glass on 51st helped to their abilities.

They did a great job replacing and painting the bumper on my car. They sent me several texts to keep me informed. Also, my car was cleaner than when I dropped it off. Very friendly staff.

If I could give 10 stars, this location definitely deserves it! The customer service lady was very helpful and amazing. I received text notifications alerting me the progress while my vehicle was being repaired. I was surprised that my vehicle was ready 2 weeks than estimated. My vehicle was clean and washed on pickup. I TOTALLY recommend this location. Thank you for getting my vehicle like brand new again and keep up the good work.Services: Body & Trim

Nice place to get your cars body work done at. They keep you updated on how things are going on your car while it is being worked on couldn't ask for any more than that.

If i could give zero stars i would. The time to get you in is sooooo far out! They do not contact customers w/ updates throughout exam & repair process. & the turn around is forever! I brought my car here after being stolen & wrecked. When i arrived they ask me to walk out & show them damages. I let the lady know i had body damage as well as two possible leaks (coolant & washer fluid). Let them know the circumstances in which my car was wrecked. They did the body repairs totally disregarded the issues under the hood. Told me my car was ready for pick up. After 7000 dollars of work, I received last minute call stating my car was ready. Pick up my car, only to turn around the next morning to take it back. They nowwwww look into the car..tell me the car damages can’t be covered or repairs there. Since i drove, and never stated i had a leak…funny.. this whole process has been from aug-oct. today i picked my vehicle up and notice my bumper now has scratches… i mention it, and worker says oh butttt you did leaveeee. Automatically i think here we go againnnn. Then he goes well it is suppose to be new, look like something rubbed up against it. Surely one of the employees swiped or ran into something. They take it to the back to get buffed. So not only did they not do a full inspection, disregard what i said, had my insurance pay 7 in damages, leaving me with a hot engine, they damaged my cars bumper AFTER Replacing it w/new, and told me thats the best can do. Without waiting lord knows what additional amount of time

I don't want to roll all the Gerber collision and glass companies into one so when I say this it's all about the 51st Street store. These people are awesome, their manager is awesome, they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and fix your vehicle. Not all gerbers are the same.

I had work done on the front end. Now it's separating from the bumper of the car. Also my inside airbag light remains on. And they forgot to connect the front speakers. You be the judge and take your car at your own risk!
