lady with the neck tattoo with black hair in a ponytail was fine until she searched for my medication, which is where she said the type of medication I was getting OUT LOUD and I did not receive a consultation despite this being my first time picking this proscription up.

Girl with the neck tattoo can chill with the attitude! Was annoyed by my mere existence at the counter and then “joked” that I was going to run off without paying. For $18 medication. Get your act together.

I was recently diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in November 2024, and life has been a major adjustment ever since. Managing this condition is hard enough without having to worry about getting access to life-saving medication like insulin.
Unfortunately, my experience at this pharmacy has added unnecessary stress during an already difficult time. On one occasion, I came in needing insulin, and instead of a sense of urgency or willingness to help, the staff seemed more focused on their lunch break. While I was still speaking with someone behind the counter, another employee began closing the service window above my head mid-conversation, simply stating, “We’ll call you with an update,” and shutting the window.
Later, when I was notified my insulin was ready, I returned to pick it up. As I approached the counter, I overheard one of the technicians say, “Oh no, he is here,” clearly in reference to me. I was deeply disappointed by this unprofessional and dismissive behavior. I chose to remain calm, collected my medication, and left—but that moment stayed with me.
I don’t expect special treatment—just basic respect, empathy, and professionalism, especially when it comes to healthcare. Unfortunately, this was not my experience, and as a result, I’ve decided to transfer my prescriptions to a different pharmacy.

The pharmacist lady just hung up on me in the middle of me speaking. Super rude and outrageous on how people like this are hired to work in this profession. Have some dignity lady. Don’t treat people how you wouldn’t want to be treated

Absolutely appalling experience at the CVS Pharmacy inside Target on 71st in Tulsa.
My 75-year-old mother had just undergone surgery, and her surgeon called in prescriptions to this location. I went in to pick them up while she waited in the car—still recovering and in pain. I was told, “It’ll be a few minutes.” I replied that was fine and stepped no more than ten feet away to grab vitamins, antibiotic ointment, and TUMS.
That’s when the steel grate slammed down.
No warning. No heads-up. No common courtesy.
I was right there—visible, waiting, expecting a short delay, not a full pharmacy shutdown. The staff didn’t bother to say, “We’re closing for lunch,” or even, “We’ll be gone for 30 minutes.” Nothing. They just disappeared behind the grate like I—and my mother’s urgent post-op meds—didn’t matter.
To make it worse, there are no signs posted anywhere indicating pharmacy lunch hours. No communication. No basic decency.
This is a complete failure in customer service, professionalism, and basic human awareness. Elderly patients rely on timely access to their medication. What happened today was inexcusable.
If this is the level of care and attention CVS provides, especially in a pharmacy setting where precision and empathy are non-negotiable, I will be transferring all prescriptions elsewhere—and encouraging others to do the same.
Do better. Lives depend on it.

Michelle (Pharmacist) is an unicorn. No matter who you are she treats you the same, she holds a conversation, greets you, offer assistance, asks if you have a reward card, all with a caring smile and attitude. She needs to be cloned..

The pharmacists and techs have been very helpful helping me get medications straightened out so that I didn't have to miss any doses. She knows my name after the first fill. She still has to ask my DOB, but I'm impressed with knowing my name so quickly. Other locations don't step up like this location.I do know that they are short handed for some reason. There are only 2 pharmacists assigned there. We can't burn them out expecting more than working 40 hours a week. I don't know why the company doesn't have a floating sub to help with this. If your are concerned about it being open, call them. They are quick to answer the phone (so much better than other sites) after you get past the system. Just learn how to respond so that you can get through faster. Remember they have a 30 min lunch break every day like all locations. It is well past the lunch rush. You can't use your CVS coupons there, but when you reach your next reward for filling medications, they will print out a voucher for you to use on Target products.
