"I went to Dave and Buster's on a Sunday night to have dinner and play games. The dinner part of our evening was awful. First of all one of the managers told us about their "powerplay" (I think that's what it was called) and it sounded like a great deal for dinner and games so that's what we decided to do. We sat down and ordered and at first our waitress was great but then came back and told us what we had originally been told was not actually the case. We had to purchase something extra to get the deal. This wouldn't have been a problem but the way it was presented felt a bit like a bait and switch. I feel like we would have gotten over this but then our waitress decided to flirt with the guys up at the bar rather than wait our table. She acted like we were a terrible inconvenience. Not to mention the food was definitely not worth what we paid, my husband ordered a Philly cheese steak which came with nothing but meat and cheese on it. Of course the waitress couldn't be found to fix it. She did manage to bring us our check eventually but we had to go up to the bar ourselves to actually pay the bill because she never came back to the table. Overall it was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time.
However, with that being said we did enjoy the games. The only complaint we had about the games was the employee manning the ticket redemption area he was pretty rude.
Overall, even though we did enjoy the games well enough I doubt we will ever be back. Bad service can do a lot to negate any good in an experience."
"Fun place, cool games. A mix of kids teens and adults playing games, you can drink alcohol while playing, they should have more rules since there's children there. The restaurant is nice, waitresses kind of distracted and drinks are terribly sweet. Food is great. My four stars goes for the chef."
"Really enjoyed hanging here with the hubz. Pleasantly surprised by the pricing of the arcade games. Also had me a nice, refreshing alcoholic beverage! The only downfall and my reasoning for the 3 stars is how cramped it all is in there.. On a busy night, you can hardly get around without bumping into games and shoulders."
"We went for the power hour. Its $10 unlimited play but only lets you play the games that don't give out tickets, which I get. I called before hand to ask about the program and was told they recommend you share a card, so we did. We had fun and played quite a few games. My only complaint is that the card only lets you swipe once every 60 seconds so you cant really play multiplayer games very well because most of them only give about 20 or so seconds before they move on and won't do multiplayer. And most if the games that don't give out tickets are racing/shooting/competitive games. All in all though it was a cheap date night. We have also done the $10 unlimited play at main event and I would definitely recommend that one over this D&B. It lets you play anything you just don't collect tickets and no time restriction on the card; they let you share a card as well so its the same price too.
"Thank you! First I want to thank James and Ashley at the Dave and Buster's in Tulsa, OK. I had a special request for them and spoke with Ashley. She was kind and helpful and had James the manager call me back right away. After letting James know my request he went above and beyond into accommodating my family and did what he could to make it one of the best experiences of their trip.
Thank you so much for all that you did, anytime we travel from now on, I know we have a friend at Dave and Buster's!"
