I live in a high crime area,my dollar general has a very high % of shop lefting, and people go through the shelves with no regards for others, the management and staff are pretty good at what they do.
I'm not trying to be a hater but it seems a couple of the new young employees definitely lack people skills, maybe I should invent a video games that rewards people skills. Ha.💡 GENIUS!!
I'm pretty sure I don't have what it takes to work there so I salute all that work there.

It would be right not to mention the real good employees, you know the ones that don't sweat the small stuff, the ones that make you feel like there grateful that you picked Dollar General to shop at, they make you feel appreciated, I know you know what I'm talking about.
So yeah this store has two or three good .human beings

Dollar General is set up for anyone's needs. It is a great store to visit. I recommend this store to anyone. I will visit again.

This store always lock their doors BEFORE 10:00, even with customers still inside. There has been several times when I have arrived before 9:40 and they weren't letting people in, stating that they were closed. The door sign states that the store closes at 10:00 pm but it's usually around 9:30. Someone needs to do something about this. Let's not even mention the horrible attitudes of the staff. No need to complain to the manager because she's worse than the employees. Just avoid the store and spend your money elsewhere. Never know when you'll get mugged in the parking lot.

Their prices are higher than the labels once you get to check out and they won’t fix it. Stop ripping poor folks off Dollar General.

Would give zero stars if I could worked here shift lead stole money out of my draw then after I was cleared they tried to accuse my husband of stealing and banned both of us even tho I didn't do anything and neither did he.

I went to this location on Saturday April 22nd of 2023 and my experience was very uncomfortable and uninviting the cashier that was working that day was very rude her customer service skills were horrible I was very unhappy and uncomfortable with my experience in your store I will never shop at your store again and their store is always messy and the cashier yelled as I walked through the door and said cash only she never greeted me as another cashier would as I entered the store

Store 18537 on North Peoria in Tulsa is by far the worst when it comes to its employees. 3 to 4 days a week the store is closed and when I contacted corporate about the issue and spoke with Eddie it seemed to fix that issue for about a week and then right back to being closed. I was supposed to receive a call from the district manager about it but never did. I stopped there this morning and was approached by the lays vendor who informed me that the store wasn’t open cause the manager doesn’t like getting up in the mornings to open and apologized on behalf of dollar general and lays. Now when the store is actually open there is only one employee that actually works while the rest either stand behind the register and watch her ring up more than ten people or go outside to smoke. Basically when it comes down to it I won’t be back to dollar general again and that goes for all locations. I can only imagine they’re all the same so I’ll take my business elsewhere and anyone who has a brain will too.Update- I finally got a call from the district manager who told me that they’ve gone through a staff change recently which is why they were closed. The funny thing is that it’s still all the same employees who have been there for a long time. So not only did the district manager NOT try to help fix the solution rather than make excuses, his excuses were blatant lies and show his lack of management abilities. I will not be back to any dollar general again thanks to his inability to resolve any issues and because of his lies. I will gladly pay more money elsewhere.
