I live closer to another location, but choose to drive here. Every employee that I have encountered so far has been kind and seem to actually like their job.
Tonight I needed a couple things, but it was getting kind of late. I strolled in with just 30 minutes before closing time.....I quickly realized I wasnt the only one who procrastinated because the store was packed. That didn't seem to phase the cashier, Ivy. She was moving everyone along quickly all with a smile. She definitely needed some recognition, so here I am. This will remain my go to location. :)

Manager took my whole cart and refused sale because I found deeply clearance items and she went against company policy and refused the sale. She was rude and nasty about it. Any other location is been to is always super nice but the short African American manager lady decided today was the day to be rude and nasty. I reported to cooperate and I'm just waiting for the gm to call me.

I was in there earlier today and Monique was so kind and pleasant! Helped me with locating what I was looking for within my small budget and friendly with another gentleman asked a question as he came in. She said it was only her second day, but she seemed really good already! That is definitely the way to be whenever possible!

I shopped here. Had a list of 10 things. Only five things were shoppable. The black woman, and I'm black too so this is not a racist comment, that I spoke to had a very nasty attitude. Some people can't take the truth. I expressed that my shopping trip was taking too long because the store was "tore up" and it's nearly impossible to shop without making 15 laps around the store nothing makes sense. She got offended. So her tone after this point was very sarcastic and rude. She also pointed out that her store was not tore up but Stevie Wonder could see that was a lie. I insisted indeed it was as I pointed out the two cartons of eggs on the dollar food aisle. She was very irritated that I asked her to walk her store and verify that the items that I wasn't finding was in fact out of stock complaining saying she's never had to do that before. I think she should be trained because in my 13 yrs of experience in retail it is not uncommon for individuals to verify with employees if they can't find a product. The atmosphere was very ghetto and very unprofessional. When I walked in there was three people behind the counter and two register lights open. However, only one person was ringing which means the other two could have clearly walked the store. The store was not that busy. A simple walkthrough could have saved those two cartons of eggs that sat warming up on the shelf.

This store is probably the most unreliable dollar general in Tulsa. You never know when it will be open or when it's open if it will be stocked. I have walked in on several occasions and the employees were smoking weed. HOWEVER. Today I scored with was awesome road trip snacks.

Store was messy and empty shelves all over. Cashier was too busy talking on her phone to check me out. She did, but stayed on her phone call the entire time and never spoke a word to me. So rude. Will not stop here again.
