In town this weekend visiting family and exploring some of the new areas. My friends had recommended Ike's in the Meadow Gold District because they know my love for testing the capabilities of my arteries. While meandering around I stumbled across Ella and Orchid, and knowing niece always expects Uncle Mike to deliver a gift I thought I'd check it out. This little gem was tucked behind Red Light Chicken and just off 11th. I have to say reviewing a Boutique would normally be off my radar, but with the help of Mari, the owner, and over an hour of some great conversation, laughs, and browsing my niece will be the best dressed kid at school this year. Thanks to Mari, you have a wonderful little shop and cool success story. Dallas Market in October!

Not sure if it was the owner or just an employee but she was helpful and friendly. I was looking for some little gifts that spoke to me for a friend. I'd say overall it isn't a place I'd shop for myself but there were some funny shirts and cozy sweatshirts I liked.

What an amazing experience! I ordered a skirt for NYE and when the shipping got backed up Mari overnighted me another one so I could have it in time. She went above and beyond! I would highly recommend!

I’ve purchased several pieces from Ella and Orchid and have been incredibly pleased with every single one of them. The owner is incredibly helpful and willing to go above and beyond to make sure my shopping experience was nothing short of fantastic. I will absolutely continue to shop local and choose Ella and Orchid over the big name brands.

EDIT: I am changing my rating because of the customer service I received after posting this review. While the customer service was good in my first visit it was great the second. The owner personally reached out to me and invited me back to the shop, and explained that she was more than happy to special order any size or style that I would want or need. The owner was super sweet and wanted to make sure that I could find something that I just loved! Overall, I really do feel like this store cares about customer satisfaction! I had such a positive experience!7/29/22 - I was really excited to visit this store when I saw them on a billboard over the BA. This shop is very trendy and cute; however, they are very very pricey. Around $115 for a skirt, $200 a dress, and $40 a t-shirt. Like other boutiques, size inclusivity was minimal. Out of the few pieces that I picked out, I did not see anything bigger than a medium. It could’ve been just that they were sold out, but it was just something I noticed, and I only picked up 5 pieces.Ultimately, this is an every once in a while, special occasion type of store for the average person.
