Formal employee this store destroyed my life do not work for them. I was an assistant manager I was assaulted and robbed left with a broken nose, broken septum, collapsed spine, 2 dislocated shoulders, dislocated jaw , damaged ligaments in neck + c4 c6 and a brain leak. I was hurt on 8/16/21 general manager refused to report my accident for over 10 days and when she did report it she reported my assault as emotional not physically .refused me my work restrictions kept trying to get me back at work when I was no longer capable of working. She also threatened my job while I was getting checked out for my assault telling me if I didn’t get back in time I would be fired even though when a accident is reported the employee is supposed to have time off to get checked out by a doctor. She also worked me for 10 days straight leading up to my surgery some days doubles taking my days off for her self telling me she needs them more because I get 2 weeks off from surgery this is the same old woman all you customers complain about who’s awful to you. I’m am left unhealthy and underweight going through surgeries and haven’t been able to work since I was assaulted working for this store. They don’t have a safe button they rather you die on the job so you can’t file for workmans comp.

I love Family Dollar, but they DO vary from store to store. The one closest to my house has zero shopping carts. Since I'm always buying 2lt. bottles of Dr Pepper, I need a cart. That store is a mess. NOT shoppable. Very low on stock. Not Recovered, and usually only one employee at the store trying to run it alone.The next closest store is well stocked and usually recovered. Again, no shopping carts and the parking lot is a hazzard to your vehicle. LARGE dip runs the length of the parking lot. Not very customer friendly, but the employees are friendly and there is usually two of them.My choice is a third store close to us. The store is new and located on Pine and Mingo. The new store is well stocked, clean and recovered. They have multiple carts and they will allow me to take them to my car as long as I promise to return the cart inside the store. the only thing that is bad is there is usually just one employee. She is an older woman who is awesome. She is always stocking shelves and serving customers. She does a great job even though she is alone. I worry for her safety though. They are also almost asking to be robbed.I REALLY DO like the stores. You can find many bargains comparable to Wal-Mart and when they have Dr. Pepper on sale, their price brats ALL the competition.

Nothing but tweekers running the store at night. Some of the tobacco you can't purchase the employee was eating a whole bowl of cereal while checking ppl out. Omg changing where I go for a while.

I come here almost every day because I live so close. I do not appreciate being treated like I am a thief. Like I said I come everyday I've never heard of buying something and having a bag and not being allowed to go back into the store because I forgot something. And on top of that she was absolutely rude to my friend that was in the store as well, we just checked out separately but apparently the worker can't help us find anything and has the worst attitude and likes to throw items because she was upset.

Both cashiers outside front door smoking/vaping with multiple customers inside the store. Bell had to be rung twice on the front register to get anyone's attention. Cashiers were rude and unfriendly. Tina and the short elderly lady.
