I had to go here because a prescription was cheaper than Walmart because my insurance wouldn't cover it. They were very nice. If it wouldn't be so much of a hassle I'd consider moving my ridiculous amount of prescriptions to them instead of Walmart. Definitely recommend checking them out

This place is THE place to go to for any generic prescription medication (or "Rx" going forward) that they happen to carry... especially if you do not have insurance. I do have insurance that covers 85% of Rx costs, but I take a generic that would normally cost approx. $40/mo via traditional pharmacy (Walgreen's, CVS, etc...) and buying OTC can cost the same or more.GenScripts has a list ("The List" going forward) of generics that they sell for "a penny a pill" which is 100% true. Even better, the larger the Rx, the cheaper it is per pill (less than a penny each.) Even BEST? No insurance is required for the "penny a pill" scheme. The List is posted right on their website to make it easy to determine if your Rx is on The List. Pretty easy to find. Or, if you're unsure about a generic equivalent to your Rx, they're happy to answer questions.They also offer First-Time patient discounts, referral discounts, and a selection of OTC items including first-aid and common medications as well as a handful of both emergency and non-emergency items.Whether or not GenScripts offers medications that are not on The List, and/or if they accept insurance/which carriers, etc... I do not know. GenScripts would have to reply and clarify this one. (Or you could just... call them?)I was going to write this review after I collected my next Rx, but they called this morning to ask what I wanted to do about it. I told them that I would be unable to collect it until the weekend, but they are closed. The young lady on the phone explained that since they are closed every Sat and Sun, that she could have them mailed (at no extra charge during the pandemic) if I paid over the phone... which I did and thanked her very much.To Summarize: GenScripts (Bixby) gets 5.0 easily for it's extremely aggressive and competitive pricing scheme that actually benefits the patient financially. The offers (especially for referrals) are extremely smart for a business that already offers what is probably the lowest retail price available locally for meds on The List. The employees are not only happy to explain pricing, they do so for every new customer. They are also friendly and engaging, not to mention knowledgeable about their business and helpful, almost seeming to go out of their way to help and/or inform you. 10/10: Would recommend.

Always check Genscryipts for your meds. Even if you have an insurance plan that covers meds, check with Genscripts for pricing.They give you personal and professional guidance because the pharmacist makes time to educate. Do not depend on the big chains to give you the best price and customer service. Buy local!
