As a new patient to MyEyeDr, I am super impressed with their friendly staff, patient care, and beautiful office! The new patient process was so easy and the experience was superb! If you need eye care, glasses, or contacts, I would highly recommend visiting Dr. Baggs and the staff at their Mingo Rd. location! Unlike other dr. offices, there's no long wait to see a dr. nor a sense of urgency once they arrive in your room. Dr Baggs was so kind and friendly and took the time to explain every step! A special shout out to Dr. Baggs, Becky, and Jody for your caring and welcoming nature! Becky serves patients with their post visit needs; she assists patients in filling eye wear prescriptions. In my case, she "shopped" vendors for the best price. We ordered the same brand, Acuvue Oasys, which I ordered direct from the manufacturer last year at a fraction of the cost! Just love Dr Anderson. Been with him more years than I’ll admit! Always professional and listens to issues! And try and get Becky to help get your glasses!! She is amazing! Gets the script measurements right and makes sure they work! Plus her knowledge of the glasses helps me find frames I might have missed out on! She always keeps me styling!

Switched to Harrell right before they changed to My Eye Doctor. Had a pleasant experience my first visit as Harrell.. unfortunately the second visit was not! I’ve carried the same insurance with no change in coverage. In the many years of eye care services I’ve never been sent a secondary bill in the mail for service. I’ve also never paid anywhere near what MY EYE doctor is charging for service with the same insurance and coverages. The last visit I had an eye exam and had lenses put in a USED pair of frames. They charged me $95 the day of service, Then I get an additional bill in the mail for $60.00 after insurance... the amount they bill insurance is insane!! the turn around time of having lenses put in old frames was ridiculous. I informed them I was heading out for a vacation and they’d assured me they’d notify me as soon as they were ready.. I received no notification and had to call to be told they were done.

Love the new office and the service from dr Anderson and Becky was wonderful! Office staff helped me work thru an insurance hiccup and back on track.

LOVE THEM! Hate that I got to pay to get the glasses mailed to my house, but it's truly understandable! The GM is lovely! Been at this location about a year now and I believe the gas money is well spent to drive the distance I do. Not only for the EXCELLENT customer service, but they back it with customer SATISFACTION! Willing to go beyond to help! I love that! Plus their selection is WAY better than the Harvard location. Don't hesitate to see them. Also, ask for Shaun, to help you with finding what your looking for! He will get you what you want!

Becky Anderson is a rock star! I won’t go any other place because of her. She is so knowledgeable about what shape glasses fit your face the best, and she is very personable and kind. I’ve been coming to her for all my glasses for years!

It was a family practice til they were bought out. I have exceptional vision insurance and still paid more than I should have for glasses only to get harassing phone calls months later saying I owed money. The person who helped me and my kids with selecting frames brought up my kids father who is not in the picture and was just so unprofessional. I will never return to this eye care facility.

Since myeyedr took over this business, things have gone down the tubes! Horrible experience trying to get prescription sunglasses. The only reason I did it was due to my medical insurance giving me a $200 credit.The lab shipped the glasses within 4 or 5 days. Yeah, I thought! Especially since had asked for no rush on the order. Not so fast. The lab put in lenses that were too large for the frame, causing the frame to bow inwards. So, tech sends them back, but also sends the actual display frames in the office. This time I asked for a rush, & the best the lab could do was TWO WEEKS! Please!Then the tech I dealt with on pickup handed me the glasses with no intention of adjusting them at all. When I asked, she did it; but really couldn’t get rid of me quickly enough. Ugh!I’ve been told that myeyedr is owned by Goldman Sachs. Perhaps that explains all. This is big business & you can expect to be treated accordingly.Next time I won’t use these people, but I LOVE my eye doctor, Glenn Baggs, DDS. Hoping he goes to another EyeCare facility!

Staff is wonderful- great selection BUT 2 years in a row actually getting my glasses has been extremely disappointing - last year kept putting bifocals in multiple times after specifically marked NO Bifocals- cracked my lenses twice -now this year waited over 2 weeks I contacted them not ready 3 weeks delayed due to hurricane but would call/text as soon as they arrived 3 days later I called again was told they came in the same day I called this is it!

9 weeks of incompetence and apologiesI requested a refund on my glasses.I ordered glasses and three weeks later went to pick them up. The employee spent 40 minutes attempting to install lenses while I waited. The employee then told me that they have a lot of problems with the lab that they have to use in Dallas. He places another order and tells me it will have a rush on it.It takes another three weeks. I go there and the lenses are not correct again.The manager calls me a few days later. He tells me that they have been having problems with the lab, but he wants to make it right. I told him that I would give them another chance if he thought the lab could provide me with correct lenses. Big mistake.It took another three weeks. I called a few times to check on the status and was given their standard reply "Should be about a week".Twice I called and asked if someone would call me with status or some information, they would never call back.I have notes with dates and other detailed information about this whole ordeal

Becky was extremely helpful when picking out my glasses. She was very personable and wanted my glasses to work that were best for me. Dr. Anderson and her are very caring. I would highly recommend them to those who are looking for a place to get glasses.
