The staff are nice people. I have used H and R Block for years at different locations. This year they are using a glitchy program that is frustrating them and customers. Two different tax preparers from this office attempted to file our taxes. It was like watching a turtle on it’s back trying to right itself. They kept making keystroke mistakes that a grade schooler would notice. We finally took our paperwork and left. I couldn’t tell if it was the tax program or the tax person, but a total of 3.5 hours were wasted on 2 different days total trying to file taxes. I don’t feel this is a safe choice with my tax preparation.

One of the best hacks services I have found. My tax prepper was wonderful and very knowledgeable. She even remembers little things about my life that I've talked to her about and asks me about them every year, like my family for instance. I would definitely recommend h&r block and Miss Gayle as the tax prepper.

They made a mistake (according to IRS), I left a message multiple times over the last several weeks, but they haven’t returned my calls. Not not only our refund is gone, but it appears we owe the government tax plus INTEREST. We paid over $500 for their service, and this is how we are treated. If they continue ignoring my calls, we are considering taking business somewhere else or preparing the tax by ourselves next year.

I've never had an issue with H&R block filing my taxes. At the start I've always had knowledgeable tax analysts but from now on I will always use Gayle Dodson as my main tax analyst. She explains everything to me in detail to let me know exactly what I'm getting and what I should expect if something were to change on my part financially. Gayle leaves nothing unturned and I appreciate everything she has helped me with on my taxes. I will always highly recommend her!

I had an older guy originally take my fiance and I taxes. Almost a week passes with no info. We call the office and they say 'oh we got you a different person to do them' which is fine but why did we have to reach out to the office? If we hadn't would we still be waiting for a phone call? I'm not sure. Also when it was my fiance turn you guys tell your employees to say 'which protection plan' thing do you want not do you want this? Made it seem like we didn't have a choice. So he paid an additional $35 for nothing cause he didn't see the no thanks at the bottom of the screen. Super misleading to customers. After we left they call me saying I have to come back in with my 1095, Okay fine so we do. But I get a call the next day saying I need to come in again to pay $35 for the 1095. So it's been about a month and my taxes still aren't done because I have to find time to go up there again for the 3rd time to pay fees.We will absolutely not be doing our taxes at H&R block next year.
