I’ve sold 10 to 20 of these batteries to my customers at my automotive repair shop and I’ve never had 1 fail!

Customer service is horrible. They don't like working with the public in general. They're not helpful in any way. Avoid this place at all costs.

This is probably the first bad review I have had to write like this. I purchased a new battery for my Big Tex dump trailer from Nationwide Trailers in Tulsa. I had Nationwide install a 7 way charger and a solar charger. Less than two months after purchasing the battery, it died with no load attached, and while on a solar charger. I did not notice it for about a month until I realized my GPS was not transmitting. Mind you the entire time, the battery was on a solar charger that was installed by the manufacturers dealer. (Big Tex and PJ are owned by the same parent company.) I kept thinking there was a problem with the solar charger. Turns out the charger was fine. I noticed that the battery read 11.55 volts and would drop slowly while watching it. Literally it would start at 12.3 when hooked up, and just start dropping while watching the voltmeter. I took it home and hooked it to a charger in the house. Thirty minutes later the charger kicked it back as a bad battery. I took it to O'Rielly's and an hour later they kicked it back as a bad battery. I took it to Nationwide, since that is where I bought it, and they told me I had to take it to Interstate. I took it there, and possibly the same receptionist referred to as rude that was mentioned in other reviews told me that there voltmeter/battery tester shows 12.3 volts, they would need to charge it for 24 hours before they warranty it. ITS ALREADY BEEN ON THE ORIELLY'S CHARGER. I charged it the day before for hours on a jumper cable from my F-450, then the charger at home, then the charger at Orielly's, now she wants to do better. FINE. First off, NOBODY said anything about a 24 hour test when I purchased the battery. My equipment is down in a field, and now I have to wait 24 hours. Ok, fine, lesson learned, we will play ball this time, but I will never buy another Interstate battery again. I drop it off at three, and return the next day at eight a.m thinking, sure they "need" 24 hours, but surely you can tell something about a battery in 15 hours. NOPE, nothing, she never even tried to look. Never even got out of her chair. If in 15 hours that battery went bad, then say so. She could not be bothered to see if it had already kicked it out. My charger took 30 minutes. Orielly's took an hour. I walk in at 8 a.m and she looks at me like I am bothering her, and tells me that it has not been 24 hours, and that they will call this afternoon. Never got up to even look, never bothered to even holler back to the tech who was feet away. I called them yesterday and explained the use of the battery and the number of charging options installed on the trailer. It died, while on a charger. It died, under no load, while on a charger. It slowly drains to zero with no load, so I asked, what charger do you recommend? They have no answer. What should I do better? No answer. What charger do you sell or recommend? No answer. Come back in 24 hours is their response. By no answer I mean she said, "I don't know, we don't sell or recommend anything." You manufacture the battery, fault my charger, but have no solutions? Nothing? Suggestions? You can tell me I did it wrong, but can't tell me what to do right? So I see no reason to buy any battery from them again in the future. When there are places like O'Rielly's, NAPA, Advanced Auto, and other places that will sell you a battery and a warranty, and warranty them on the spot no questions asked, I see no need to purchase a battery from Nationwide, who will send me to Interstate who will make me leave my disabled truck or equipment in a field for 24 hours while they "test" the battery and leave my equipment down in a field. Now just to be clear. The receptionist did not say anything particularly rude, but when someone treats you in a way that makes you feel like you are bothering them I don't see any reason to go back. As a business owner with several pieces of heavy equipment, I cannot risk leaving equipment down for 24 hours, while they "test" the batte

This place is a rip off. They charge you over $150 dollars to buy the battery on the sale of a 6 year warranty, but there is no 6 year warranty - it's only for 6 months. I brought my battery in because it tested bad - when I dropped it off I was told that it had to be charged at their site for 24 hours. I came back in the next day and my battery had not even been touched. The receptionist realized what happened and said that they would “warranty†it out at the pro-rated cost. The pro-rated cost was over $80 almost the same price as buying a new one. She then tried to show me on a new battery where it shows the NEW warranty policy, but seen on my battery it shows 6 year warranty. She still refused to replace my battery under warranty. Please read the fine print and DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY OE ANY OF THEIR SALES REPRESENTATIVES.

Outstanding people providing a quality product. I was stranded at the QT down the road and walked the half mile fully prepared to hand carry a new battery the half mile back when they stopped and OFFERED to drive me back to my truck. I don't have the words to express my gratitude. Thank you very much.
