Great sale prices! Store was very hot almost left because I started sweating. But the prices were great on the clearance sections.

Tyvm to the young lady who helped me ..I worked as cashier for years and told I think was manager how outstanding she was ..but my first purchase was jeans for my husband and that young lady was very kind and helpful..tyvm

Seems to be lacking in customer service. Where's the workers when you need one? Forget if you need something out of the jewelry counter you're going to have to hunt for someone same if you want to checkout. They're not going to last much longer.

No A/C in the building and It’s 105 degrees outside. It was so hot when trying on clothes . They definitely have good prices there but I think they are closing :/ I think this violates the mall policy on certain temperatures to be running in the store and they are not following it. It’s so hot in there and I was literally sweating and about fainted in there.

Still felt like the a/c was turned off... come on, a large company like this should have good working a/c & shouldn't expect the employees to work under those conditions. Step it up JC Penny's. I probably would have spent more money if I could have comfortably shopped.

Clean store, always has a good sale going on. If you download their app, you get access to their coupons which can save you quite a bit. Nice employees.

The AC was not working and I was sweating when trying on clothes. I’ve read previous comments over the last few months that said the same thing. Why is it taking this long to get the issue fixed? I would have spent money on clothing if it was cooler in there, but I just wanted to get out as fast as I could.

Went to purchase a suit, shirt, tie, belt, shoes and socks. No clerks in the suit department. I asked for help with sizing and a really nice girl called to get me assistance. 20+ minutes later I left. Never saw another employee. Went to Dillards and was helped right away.

Went in to try on womens clothes. I'm 79 years old. Walk with a cane, have trouble standing. No chairs in dressing room. Starting sweating couldn't breathe so hot. Thought was just dressing room, when left the whole store was same way, Hot.

I bought a rose gold wedding ring set from the Jewelry dept. The ring was a little small but since I needed it for my wedding I went ahead and took it home in hopes of being able to wear it. I decided not to wear it and took it to get sized. I was told it would be 5 weeks to be done. After 5 1/2 weeks I called to check on it and it was there. I wore it home and noticed it had turned my finger green. I wore the ring less than an hour. When I called I was told they couldn't exchange or return it because the return window had closed (while it was in their possession being sized) and because I wore it less than an hour. They said they could send it back to be polished, maybe that would help. I didn't want to do that and just wore it anyway. Good news is after one week of wearing it, it no longer turns my finger green. The rose gold has completely worn off the bottom of the ring and is working its way off on the rest of it.

Literally one of the worst dept stores I've ever been in. Every single person was rude, every single person had a bad attitude. And I had to wait in line 30 min before they acknowledged there were 10 people waiting. Their prom dress selection for plus size girls is a complete joke as well. Most of their "elegant" dress line, I would never let my child wear.

I want to thank Jane for helping my daughter not only find her size of shoe but was very pleasant during the process. Later on she saw us walking around the store in a different section and offered help without asking.I want to also mention Tamara who showed me the in's and outs of taking advantage of the coupons online as well as my rewards account. ?

The ONLY reason for the five stars is because of Sarah...I know I have already wrote a review but I don't want you to underestimate the value of this situation. Even though JCPenney will put me through more stress with lack of staff and concern, I will be back because of HER. She showed a kind of compassion you just don't see anymore...she touched my heart..she might be young but she could teach humanity a thing or too I promise you that. I would be so proud to have an employee like that and am sure everyone in her life is made better by her presence. She's a light and deserves to be recognized...I mean really recognized.
