I’ve been a loyal Kohl’s shopper for many years and have always enjoyed the experience—until I moved to Murfreesboro. I visited the local Kohl’s store a few times after moving here four years ago and found it to be incredibly disorganized, which made shopping frustrating. Because of that, I hadn’t returned in nearly two years.
Recently, after my husband earned $20 in Kohl’s Cash at a store in Oklahoma while traveling, I decided to give the Murfreesboro location another chance. Unfortunately, it was even worse than before. I had checked online for specific items that were listed as “in store,” but due to the chaotic state of the women’s clothing and shoe section, I couldn’t find a single one. This store is by far the most disorganized and dysfunctional Kohl’s I’ve ever been to. I won’t be returning.

Compared to most Kohls in the area, this is the nicest bet that doesn’t really say much. Parking lot can get bumpy but that’s everywhere these days.

Just remember to use cashiers for check out rather than self service. We saved $22 that way!

Kohls is my one stop, most everything clothing store including shoes & bedding.
As I was checking out with t-shirts I saw bags of Werthers Carmel chewy candy. I immediately grabbed a bag. It was the first bag in the bin. When I got home and opened it, the candy was all stuck together - impossible to pull apart without getting sticky hands. The bag of candy was over $9.00. $9.00!! I returned it and showed them how some of the carmel was even out of its wrapper and merging with other pieces. Nothing wrong with the candy other than melted into each piece and a messy, sticky bag. Of course, I showed them how everything was stuck together - I told two people. No one responded. I'm going back tomorrow and buy another bag. I'm quite certain it will be the same with that bag too. So, I told them and if the next bag is the same.....that's a red flag for me about Kohls. Too picky? No, not for $9.00.

Nice selection of clothing to choose from. Coupons are not usable on all items anymore. Pay close attention when selecting items.

This place needs to be shut down. Employees are rude. Unorganized. Asked to check the price employee told me to get the app is only way now. They don't have price checkers. Manager Maria was rudest!
