Robin G. was so helpful. She gave us space and wasn't too clingy, but also answered all our questions and helped us choose the perfect dining set that matched our home's colors and style. Robin was authentic and personable. This was the most pleasant buying experience I've ever had.

whatever you want to call the furniture damage contract we purchased, it is still worthless. We were told that the piece of marble topped furniture we purchased was sealed. It was NOT, therefore the damage occurred. We would have hired someone to apply a sealer had we known. I'm sure you have my number on file so you can contact me. we have talked to your "customer service" people who seemed clueless.

So the people working there were very knowledgeable and helpful. I was impressed with them. Selection was also good. The problem has been that everything has come broken or dented. My husband already has taken two dented counter chairs back and we just unboxed the new ones and they are dented too! Then I went to put clothes in the new dresser and two of the drawers are cracked! I messaged the girl we bought them from and she says she will get the dresser replaced for free. My husband is going to go back AGAIN to try to get no dented counter stools. It seems like it would be good quality furniture but what in the world is happening to it before it gets delivered to be all beat up?!

Rick S. General Manager at Mathis Home responded to my complaint yesterday saying that I would get a call yesterday to resolve my issues with their poor quality recliners. I never received a call from anyone. That's how they treat their customers. Words only but no action for customer satisfaction. The exchanges are because you send me garbage furniture. Where's the phone call you said I would get? I'm not finished complaining until you get this garbage chair out of my house and refund me the $1,530.00 Lennon ice $1,358.00 Apollo BlurGrey $329.99 protection plan $229.99 protection plan $165.00 battery plan Equaling $3,612.98 If you disagree a phone call could clear this nightmare up if you have a backbone to call. Rick, you need to get the story correct. I never used MB furniture while waiting on new furniture to be delivered. I have had two recliners delivered that were extremely poor construction. That's what this is about. You started off thinking it was over a sofa.

This adventure hit on Black Friday while we were in T-town picking up another order from another store. We stopped in to see if they had a part for a cabinet we have, and they let us know they did not. But the customer service man was very nice to let us know where we could find the part locally. While my husband was taking care of that, I checked out their Christmas section and did not find what I was looking for until we were on our way out. I spotted the friends of the mansion ornaments and got a set for my home(They had 20,21,22,and 2023's). Now I have to figure out what years I am missing and hunt those years down. This is a tradition in my household that I did with my late mother. We would get our ornaments and then some for gifting. I appreciate Mathis for carrying these and having them priced fairly so that everyone can enjoy them. It made my holiday a bit brighter.

We bought our Mathis Bros. Chylanta Black queen bed through Ashley Home Store in Rogers, AR, to be delivered from the Mathis warehouse in Tulsa. When the bed was delivered, it did not have the center support legs. The next week the truck comes back and they have the wrong legs, which are too short. The next trip a week later and our legs didn't make it into the truck for delivery. Another week and the truck shows up with the same same short legs as on the second trip. The fifth trip out the next week and the legs are correct, but there is no mounting hardware with them. At this point I told the delivery guys not to come back, that I was going to Lowe's to get the hardware needed, which I did, and fixed the bed myself, five weeks after the initial delivery. After this fiasco, we are NEVER buying from Mathis Bros. again.

The store looks great, but... We ordered an Ashley Kanwyn Tall Bookcase for a member's price of $444 + tax and delivery/assembly. We could have gotten it directly from Ashley for $399, but we were told that Mathis had it in stock, and we preferred to be able to unload some book boxes in the guest room before a houseguest arrives next week. Delivery would have taken 2-3 weeks with Ashley, so we paid $45 more to get it from Mathis. Mathis delivered last Thursday, and they brought the *wrong* one, so it went back. Between their schedule and ours, today (Monday) was the next delivery date. Mathis said they were sending us a gift card for our inconvenience (don't know how much, don't have it yet). Today was delivery day #2, and guess what? They brought the *same* WRONG bookcase again! I can understand making a mistake the first time, saying, "Something must have been tagged with the wrong number," but why wouldn't a business check that first, before delivering the same wrong item a second time? The woman we spoke with in delivery now thinks the two they have in stock are probably the same two wrong ones that got delivered, and that they probably don't have what we want in stock, which was the reason we paid more for Mathis in the first place. They can't place a photo on the order sheet for the delivery guys; she said she could put a note that our bookcase has a solid back (not open-back with an X, like what they're delivering), but she doesn't know if they would read it. She said they can order one from Oklahoma City (1.5 hours away), but it would take between 1-2 weeks. Who knows if that would be right either? My husband will go to the store tomorrow. I usually check reviews, but I didn't think to do it with Mathis. Should have. Will let you know if they step up to the plate to get this worked out well.

Terrible. Would not recommend them for any of your needs. Ordered and paid in full for furniture in March. Have yet to receive a working table. They now want to deliver us a table top that's broken and "in shop" because it's their last one in stock.

Jeff G and April (Ashley Furniture in Tulsa Hills) took good care of mine and my husband’s wishes from step 1. They allowed us to wander to see if we could find anything we liked - we eventually gave up and asked for assistance. Mathis Home is so big you really need someone to find exactly what you are looking for. Thanks for the fabulous service!

Updated Oct 20: I do not recommend Mathis store online as it is very difficult to return an item and get a refund. Never got my refund for a very heavy $160 furniture item ordered online which I returned in the store per store policy. The customer service said they would work the refund but did not process it. It is very difficult to do returns, even though they say on their website you can return in store, the first time I came in they sent me away, and emailed me later with options to include you must pay very expensive fee to mail it back, and also they gave me the option to bring the item back to the store for a 10 percent restocking fee, which I did do. Still didn't get a refund.

Andrea was wonderful!! She wasn’t overbearing but was still helpful. Although I think it’s silly to have a membership program to make stuff cheaper. Do people really frequent there like a grocery store? I think not.

They are con men. They are no better than all the scammers that call you. Total bottom feeders !!! They get your information and charge you a membership fee every year. We have been fighting them on this for 2 years now. We are now going to file a lawsuit against them. Thanks Yelp ! It's amazing how quickly we were able to get this resolved with this review going public.

Update: after being reached out to on here I sent an email but I haven’t gotten a response back as of yet…I finally got a replacement nightstand by going to the store myself, but it’s also damaged. I’m tired and I give up. ??♀️I’ve never been treated worse in my entire life. I bought a whole bedroom set half of it was delivered just fine in boxes, but my two nightstands had to be delivered from California. They came out of the boxes, and when the delivery driver was taking it off of the truck, he kicked the drawers in, and it jammed them shut. When I called immediately, the person I talked to said don’t worry we’ll get it exchanged but I didn’t hear from them for three days, so I called back and the person I talked to said that no exchange was made but they put notes in the system. I asked about an exchange, and they said sure come in today and bring the nightstand and we’ll get it exchanged for you, but their warehouse is closed today so they refused to service me and then on top of that they tried to charge me an extra $6 which they waived so nicely ? I’ve spent thousands here to be treated like garbage and brushed off with the most trivial fake apology and no fix. I’ll never spend another dollar at this company... So you damaged my stuff, lied to me three times, wasted my time, and tried to scam me out of more money. Horrible.

Kennedy Lowe was an excellent, friendly, and patient sales woman. She directed us to what we were looking for showing us all the different areas that the kind of chair. My husband was looking for. She didn’t pressure us at all. She listened to both of us, especially after I asked her to look at some alternatives to the type of chairs. My husband was looking for. She is excellent.
