I had a great experience replacing two rims that got bent after hitting a pot hole. I found the rims I needed from a Facebook post they had online. Aaron was very helpful on the sales side and with confirming they had what I needed in stock. The employees retrieving the rims were quick and very friendly. I was in and out in about 15 minutes after arriving.

Doesn't sell interior parts even though they say they do . Didn't really seem like they wanted to help me and I was willing to pay the prices they wanted and drive the 3 hours to get them.

Still owes us $64 for them breaking a part off a transmission we bought. Promised we would be reimbursed for all money we were out for their mistake. Looks like it’s not going to happen. I hope my mechanic doesn’t give them anymore business! Liars

Picking your own parts from wrecked vehicles is a business model that has very little room for things like comfort and convenience. That said, I've been a customer 3 times in as many years and I feel like a project isn't really done right until I've checked to see whether the parts I need are available at Midwest. Each time I've been, I found parts in great shape at prices so low I could afford to replace stuff I had put off replacing because the new parts were either too expensive, or maybe they weren't critical to the car's performance.I've found that salvage yards are all pretty much the same on the surface. There's a dystopian look and feel to salvage yard s in general that can be intimidating to a first time customer, but I don't think there's any way to avoid the reality that it's always going to be a little creepy working in an automotive graveyard. It's a given, I mean it is a virtual roasting pan in the summer and a bone chilling desolate junkscape in winter. But regardless of the weather, it will always be dusty. No shame in dressing like a Mad Max character here.So after only three visits I doubt I'm qualified to say this, but it seems to me no matter how many times you've been there, the staff at Midwest does their level best to make the customer experience as ooth and pain free as possible. That's the impression I get, and if you end up pulling parts there someday, I hope it goes as well for you.

Awesome location, selection and prices (50% off on black Friday). Highly Recommend... I only wish I could cut quarter panel of a couple of cars to finish some projects...

Rude customer service answers and says can you please hold but doesn't wait for you to respond yes or no so why even ask and then when discussing parts they don't fully listen they don't offer interchange vehicles at all and overall just horrible experience both used part and part that searches for you same experience

I never make posts like this. But feel pretty robbed from.Lies about the condition of their engines, do not stand behind their engines. Hides behind a small as is on their receipts. Sold me a $1200 boat anchor. Told me the head gaskets needed replaced on the 6.0 Diesel I purchased. I agreed to that because hg are common to go bad. Took to get the head gaskets replaced. 1 completely melted piston, 2 other bad pistons, broken turbo told me the engine ran when pulled. Not a chance.Matt "Massad" the owner sold this to someone who he has done business with for a long time that has spent a lot of money with him. He will not do a refund of the money and take his unusable engine back. He did this to a fellow business owner and long time customer over $1200. How do you think he will treat you?I do NOT recommend buying from MidWestern Salvage. Horrible experience.
