With clear instructions from the PayPal app the store manager refused to add money to my card because “it could be fraud” so I hope this store and other stores get some training for their employees

I needed to return a couple of items but I had lost my receipt. I said store credit was fine. I've worked retail before so I know how things work. Veronica, the manager was a little bit rude about it and basically made me feel like a criminal. I usually chalk this up to "maybe she was having a bad day" but it really offended me. If this is the usual attitude displayed in this location? That would explain why the store was empty other than me.
