TL;DR DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. Bottom line: Predatory.Updates at the end. See emails that they requested me to send to talk to their customer care. For context, they did NOT contact me on 4/8 nor have I spoken to anyone on their customer care team except for this email thread where they keep telling me they will contact me asap.I thought I did my due diligence to protect myself from a place like this. I wanted 1 week of a tan prior to going to Cancun so I wouldn’t burn. Palm Beach manager assured me that I would save money by purchasing an entire month. I listened to the sales pitch and although I was not interested in a month purchase (I never tan, this was for a base to not burn), the way it sounded was that it would be much more expensive to purchase per tan. I could have tried other places but this one was close and reviews were decent. My only concern was to not get on a month to month plan. She assured me that she would cancel the month to month as soon as we started it so that I would not be charged additional months. And when we were done with the transaction I was told that yes, I had already been canceled and it would only be good for one month but I would have to pay more next time if I changed my mind. I went 7-8 times before my trip. On the second to last day when I was in there that same lady was there and I had her verify with me, after I turned my recording app on of course (i had forgotten to record on the first day), that the month to month had in fact been canceled and all I was going to be charged was for the one month. She said yes that was correct and then turned her screen around for me to look and pointed at the mid left of the screen and said, see, this is zeroed out and no information is there, that means you are not in the system to get charged next month. I did believe her bc I did not think these gym scams really happened much anymore. So I had an entire month to use but only used it before my trip and didn’t think about it again until this morning when my credit card statement came due and I reviewed the charges. I was in fact charged again for the next month. Even tho when I signed up I could not have been more clear I only wanted one month and that I needed assurance that I would not be charged anything else for any future months. And even tho I was told more than once it was cancelled. I was wrongfully given that assurance, so also do not believe anything that is said. Anyhow, I called today, shout out to Bobby, and they cannot assure me I will be refunded. She will submit a request and that is up to corporate to refund me or not. In addition to that! Since today is too late in the month!!! I will get changed for an additional month, so next month I have another useless month of tanning. They can do nothing about this apparently. But I can, I called my credit card company and they have filed a dispute for me and refunded me themselves. It isn’t really about the money. Consumers should not have to weed through companies these days to find the ones that arent predatory, but we still do. But don’t let people take advantage of you whether it is a little or a lot. Companies should be blasted all over the place that have business practices like this. I will follow up when and if I get a refund. I just don’t play around with BS companies like this that are just out for your money, not to be an honest and good company. This is not the type of company you want to support with your hard earned money. Make people and companies be responsible. And when they aren’t, stop supporting them. Bobby did say I didn’t fill out a cancellation form, how would I have known to when I was told everything was taken care of and canceled out. Very frustrating and a waste of time and money.Update: they sent that response you see below, I responded and then they never responded back. Today I was changed again but for a higher amount. It was $41 on the first erroneous charge and $47.31 this time. My credit card company is taking care of it but further buyer beware information.

Bed 17 was extremely dirty, requested new bed . Was told had to have same bed(wait to be cleaned ) or wait 24 hrs since I was already logged in . Obviously not the correct answer . Please use this as a training exercise.

I have seen such positive changes the last couple weeks. The salon is so clean and taken care of. The new manager is such a pleasure to be around. She is a keeper!

A great place to tan! They have multiple memberships I went with the Diamond Prism it includes bed tanning, spray tanning, red light and so much more. Highly recommend using a product Clio informed me how intensifiers and bronzers are necessary for tanning, and I agree! I’m going on a trip and the products helped me get tan so fast. Clean rooms and friendly staff.

When this was At the Beach it was disgusting. VERY Dirty, zero amenities in the room including even a trash can or small table for your things. Staff was perpetually confused, never got the length I wanted to tan right..forgot to turn the machine on forcing me to get re-dressed and go tell them to turn it on. Ugh and dirty towels, forcing me to bring my own.I have seen improvements since Palm Beach took over. New staff, cleaner facilities (though not spotless) clean towels and newly added tables and trash cans and even tanning goggles to use for free if you forget yours. (At the beach would charge $8)While not quite up to the standards of Palm Beach in Phoenix where I moved from (truly a luxury experience)..I’m hoping they continue to make improvements!Services: Tanning

No longer At The Beach ?️...new owners. Give yourself enough Xtra time to have them explain new regulations and different packages and pricing! Everything is different. I will update my review once I have more info!
