Awful rental experience, reserved an intermediate car, received a 15 passenger van. When I spoke to the manager requesting a discount or at least to pay the rental fee that would have corresponded to the vehicle I requested, I was ignored. This is the discount version of Budget and I will NEVER rent from them again.

The counter person at Tulsa airport refused to enter Groupon code and tried to charge me more. When I found out the garage was full of cars but the booth person said they are not available because they were for maintenance. When I asked the person to check again if any of the small cars were available, the person in the booth asked me to walk back and give me the site number. It was after the midnight and I was too tired to do so. So at the end, I got a 7-seat SUV for $166 for a day, when the other rental car companies charges around $50/day. That’s why their garage was full of cars.

They don't tell you the whole story do the price they say you're going to pay, is much less than the price you'll actually pay. Take time to read the fine print and make sure they don't add on the insurance immediately after they tell you they don't need to because they can use your own insurance.

Absolutely zero customer service! Received a car with a malfunctioning chip and was unable to drive. NOBODY was able to help me. You get what you pay for.

Car was dirty with lots of miles, had lots of small damages, wear was excessive for the age of the vehicle and it stunk of cleaning spray that was trying to mask cigarette smoke. Windshield was cracked, fender had a black piece on passenger side that was coming up from what looked like may have been caused by front bumper damage from scraping when going up hills or something. Seats had stains all over them and the steering wheel was sticky, 4 flying bugs were found in the car during a 4 hour trip and seemed to come from the dash by the Windshield defroster. Windshield was covered in bugs but there was no washer fluid in the car. Prior customer had their personal info on a receipt in the glove box from 3/4/23. Employee laughed at me when asking questions as to why I was being given the beat up Honda SUV with over 50k miles on it instead of the mid size car I paid for. Employee that took the car back and checked it in was incredibly rude and lacked manners. She yelled across the parking lot and asked me what I was doing there when I parked in the wrong space for returning the rental.You now cannot pickup your payless rental outside so you will go inside the air port and walk for several minutes to the desk passed luggage return... you will sit there for 15 or more minutes and wait for them to type stuff into the computer...even if your rental is prepaid and you are only there to get keys, which is what happened to me. After getting an envelope from the person inside, you'll have to walk that long walk back to the booth outside to get the key. The booth that gives you the key is the booth that used to compete the entire transaction right there but for no reason just sends people inside now if they rent from payless. If you go to any other car rental company at the airport, you won't experience this.

My first time using Payless and the experience was great. My flight was cancelled and I checked all locations at the airport and no one had any cars available and all were extremely rude while dealing with them except at Avis/Payless. After 45 minutes of walking from counter to counter the gentleman at Payless (don’t remember his name) actually tracked me down to let me know he had a car come available. I always use National/Enterprise and have for years but they definitely will not be getting my business back for this location.

well as the selection being exactly what I chose. Finally the staff was friendly from point A-Z. I even had to extend my rental by a few hours and they were understanding with no extra charge

Ordered a full-size SUV, and was given a compact for no reason. Oh, and still got charge for a full-size SUV, which I didn’t have called into customer service, and it was nearly impossible to find somebody to talk to that wasn’t a machine or someone who actually spoke English. I will never rent from pay less again.

DO NOT USE THEM!!!Made reservations 3 weeks a head. flight Landed 11:30pm and not only that they didn’t have car there was no one at the counter. Person next door (Avis who owes payless) said that they sold out and left. Left me on airport with kid in the middle of the night. I saw bad reviews but they were only one working that late.Not good business at all

I was impressed with the rental cost. The other brands were much higher to rent at the airport. Normally, I fly in and uber to Enterprise outside of the airport. Airport fees add a lot more to the rental cost. However, this time it worked to just rent at the airport.

Always great to rent from them. Very easy drop off, just picking up now you have to go to the counter then back to the parking. Before you can go straight to the parking and get your car at those counters .
