I have a fleet of Vans that we use daily to deliver 7 days a week. I negotiated a fair deal for the rental of the vans and proceed to move my business. What a joke. The is not a FREE roadside option. They came to fix a flat and charged me for 250.00 plus. Not to mention the vehicle doesn’t have a spare. WTF. 5 of the vans didn’t have spares, 2 of units rented to us that didn’t have proper tags on the unit, oil draining from another unit. I inquired about doing PMs for the units and down times. Min 2-3 days sometimes longer and your still billed for the rental while down. Needless to say. My business with this outfit lasted 2 weeks. Would really think twice before using Penske for your fleet needs.

Truck was good, priced fair. However the Home Depot employees are extremely lazy and didn’t go outside with me to do a walk around. She just handed me the keys and gave me the paper work that said “light scratches”. The fender was missing a big chunk out of it and so I called Penske directly and told them about the damage. Customer service was great and noted it. If available I would rent from an actual Penske location and not a location such as Home Depot.

The truck performed perfectly. My concern is the whole process at the home depot on Elgin in Tulsa. If Penske is going to use the customer service reps at the store, I would recommend evaluating the whole process. It is severely flawed. There are some hiccups that could be avoided with a better process.
