I recently brought my doodle in for grooming, including a bath and full haircut, for her birthday. Before the appointment, the grooming manager and I discussed the desired length, and I specifically requested that the top of her head not be trimmed. The manager confirmed this understanding, and I felt comfortable moving forward.
Unfortunately, the groomer, Jessica G, did not follow the instructions that were clearly communicated. She cut the top of my doodle’s head, leaving it noticeably uneven, and trimmed the overall coat much shorter than agreed upon. The result was disappointing and far from what was discussed. Jessica argued that she was matted on her head and that was absolutely not true. Her manager clearly told me that her head was not matted.
When I called to express my concerns, the response was argumentative rather than understanding. This experience left me incredibly upset, especially with upcoming professional photos that I had hoped would capture my dog looking her best. Instead, I’m now left waiting months for her fur to grow back.
This situation could have been avoided with better communication and by respecting client instructions. Regrettably, I will not be returning to this location and cannot recommend Jessica G based on my experience.

It’s a different kind of experience than the 71st and Memorial PetSmart (not as large). The cashier was nice. The parking lot is quite tight on space (awkward circular lot), so you have to be ultra careful when driving, parking, or reversing to ensure you don’t miss a pedestrian, animal, or car.

I went in for a kitten. Annie, the volunteer in the cat adoption area, was totally awesome! She completely talked me out of a kitten and into a full-grown cat and made me think it was my idea.
