Dr. Roddy Roberts is by far the best Vet in Tulsa and very likely the State. Full disclosure, he has been my family vet my entire life and today was a perfect example of why. He is caring and compassionate with his patients but also with their humans. He is more than knowledgeable and seems to have a Doctor Dolittle kind of communication with the animals in his care. The amazing group he has put together at River Trail Animal Hospital will take the absolute best care of you and your Furbaby.

Dr. Roberts is the best Vet there is. He is first-class and as genuine as they come. You will never go wrong working with Dr. Roberts.

Dr. George saved my fur babies life!! We unknowingly adopted our Sadie with heart worms, and we were very scared and anxious for her when we found out. Dr. George answered our many questions, walked us through the process, and assured us she was going to be okay and that he would take care of her. After each treatment he would call and let us know how she was, and I definitely needed that when she had to stay over night for a couple days! We will never take our dogs to another vet, and we cannot thank him enough for what he’s done for us and our two pups.

This place used to be the model for veterinarian service and boarding, but has become completely unreasonable . We have two small dogs, they normally would be $35/day/dog/cage. We were told when we started boarding them together, it would be $50/day/dog/boarding together.Didn't catch it the last stay, but this stay I asked for an itemized, and saw what they were doing. Wife called to talk to the manager, who's reasoning was, "you paid it last time and didn't say anything" as if not catching the deceit was an implied acceptance. We caught it this time, because we were traveling 10 days and the $750 charge Of an $1100 bill stood out really obvious!Used to use riverside, we will be going back to our old office and boarding at woodland west, although it's 7 miles out of the way.We have spent several thousand on this place, and refuse to spend another dime on narcissism and deceit.

Always get an second opinions from another vet office for major issues. Dr Gerorge mis diagnosed our pet, told us the 2 yr old dog could pass away in 90 days. $1400 of testing and 4 weeks of pain and suffering for the family. We were told the dog is fine. Unbelievable.

My little pup hurt her back paw and it was bleeding so we drove to River Trail since it was very near by. It was later in the day and I was afraid they wouldn’t be able to see us. Not only did they squeeze us in, the ladies at the front desk as well as the doctors and nurses were so kind and took care of my baby. It was a very reasonable cost and we were in and out pretty quickly. Highly recommend!

My cat is 16 years old, much loved, horribly spoiled, and been my blanket monster though 3 major illnesses (his), and River Trail has seen him and I, late and early; through them all. 25 Years of happiness with my furry family. I am proud to have them.

Always attentive and professional veterinarians. Clean facilities. River Trail has taken care of our 4 legged family members for over 12 years. We never think of going anywhere else.

Excellent in every respect. No better Vet in Tulsa. Dr Seth George is so kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. He has kept my little Maltese, Poppy, alive to nearly age 13, despite Cushings Disease and Kidney issues. Dr Hooley and Dr Roberts are absolutely incredible too.

They have a Pittie prejudice that we weren't informed about so our dogs couldn't hang out with other dogs. Our girls love every living thing. We were treated like idiots when we picked them up; lectured on their "food aggression", which they don't have. And, we were informed that one of them wasn't fixed, when they both clearly are and have tattoos to prove it. Never again. To be fair, there was only person that treated us like this, but she was the lodge manager.

If your dog ever had kennel cough from this location, please contact a lawyer. Due to them neglectfully withholding the fact that they've had multiple kennel cough outbreaks. This is all verifiable through previous employees and I do not recommend anybody ever going or utilizing either of the river trail facilities.

Brought my kitty in yesterday and had to spend close to $1000. The money isn't important, it's to emphasize that my kitty is really sick.Anyways, I was supposed to get test results and another vet was asked to look at x-rays so the opinions of other lab techs and another vet were pending. When I called in at 430 today, whom ever I spoke with pretty much told me that if I didn't get another appt with a different vet, I don't get the results. Then she said she didn't have the results after she told me she did. Then I was told that the vet I saw had to give her medical opinion on those results (that were someone else's medical opinion)I questioned this and the woman I spoke with pretty much told me to go to a new vet hospital to get rhe results I paid for yesterday. Don't worry, I'm very confused as well. This person I spoke with on the phone lied to me several times and tried to tell me what I wanted to hear just to get me off the phone. She then suggested I go elsewhere if i wanted my results in a timely manner (that's not a direct quote, that's just what I was told in a round about way) I think I'll take her advice. The vet I saw was amazing. Dr Monroe. It's too bad she works here because I really liked her.At first I was upset with this place but in reality, I just feel sorry for them. They seemed really nice so its a real shame.Thank you for trying Dr Monroe. Skittles really liked you and so did I. You're an amazing woman. This vet gets 5 stars and I would recommend her if you can put up with this place.I do apologize for the honest but fair review. I wish things could have been different. I hope you guys have a nice day and someday see that its not about money and getting people to spend more of it. It's about the animals and making sure they aren't suffering and no amount of money can replace that. Money isn't the most important thing and hopefully someday you guys see that. I'll find a place that has the same morals and values as I do but I appreciate your time. Thank you again

The vet magnanimously gave me a "free exam".So my dog (medium sized lab mix) presented with lumps on the back of his knees. This is swollen lymph glands. I was very concerned about this and the doctor told me that since these glands were isolated (no other of his lymphatic system showed swelling) and that he is very low risk for lymphoma. He said they're swollen because he had an infection. The infection is gone and the lymph glands swelled to fight the infection. He advised monitoring them and that they will slowly shrink down. Then he said nothing to do, and to call it a free exam. Ok great. I'm getting a second opinion but hope he was right.I will say the vet tech who checked me in was professional until it was time for her to leave and I to wait for the doctor. I politely asked how long I might be waiting. She replied "why, is there some place you need to be?" I replied " I just have to be at work at 4. " She then asked "is it nearby?" I said yes but I still have to go home and change first. My appointment was at 2:30 and I took the trouble to arrive on time. Her response was "I don't know how long it will be but I'll tell the doctor you're in a hurry." While I WASN'T in a hurry, I have found the south side vet hospitals to be pretty cavalier about making people wait, hence the inquiry as to how long it might be. I also asked because I traveled about 15 miles and this would be the same distance back. I found her to be rude and not sure I'll go back there. I'll add that on this day, I saw no one else waiting when I arrived and I assume that since I asked about the length of the wait, the Dr. arrived almost immediately.
