Start of the art tanning beds.Great choice of beds to tailor your tanning needs.Melissa was very helpful from start to finish.Variety of tanning lotions to purchase.The tanning room and bed spotless clean.Towels provided to.Will definitely be a return customer.Overall, the salon is immaculate.

Receptionist very pleasant and accommodating. Told me all about the pricing and wasn't pushing me into something I did not want to buy. Place was very clean and relaxing. I'm glad I went there. And most likely to return. Thanks Tan Your Moon!!

I came in 10 days before I was leaving on vacation so that I could get a nice base tan before I left. I went ahead and purchased a monthly package to use all the beds and thought it was a bit pricey considering it’s almost twice as much as any other tanning establishment in Tulsa and they have basically the same beds but went ahead and did it because of the fact that you don’t have to sign a contract and be stuck in something you don’t need. The staff is friendly but I have a huge issue with them not being properly trained. They are not knowledgeable and seem completely uninterested in helping you anyway. I had tanned everyday for 7 days in a row on bed 2 as it designed to produce minimal burn and a quick tan. Everything was fine during that week. I didn’t burn one time and had developed a nice base tan. As I was checking in to tan the last day before I left on vacation, my 8th day to tan, there was a guy checking in at the same time as me and when I said that I wanted bed 2, the girl checking him in quickly said that he was going in bed 2. My girl says that bed 6 is open so assuming that it is like bed 2 since she suggested it as an alternative, I accepted. She didn’t explain the bed or show me how to use it at all. She asked me how long I wanted to go so I looked at my arms to see how dark I had gotten and decided to stick with 10 min I told her that I probably shouldn’t go any longer than that yet. She gave me no guidance, no explanation of the bed or how strong it was, absolutely nothing! So not knowing how to adjust the settings on the bed, I simply press the start button. I decided to get out around the 8 min mark because I did notice that this was a completely different bed with different bulbs and was worried about getting burnt. After I got out and the bed was still going, I noticed that there was a setting on the outside screen that allowed you to change the intensity of the bed. 3 settings something like low, moderate and intensify. Of course the bed was set on the highest one! Anyways, later when I got in the shower I noticed that I had been severely burnt. The shower mixed with my burn caused my body temp to be unable to regulate itself, I was shaking uncontrollably had the chills and became very weak. I felt so bad I could barely speak, my whole body hurt and my head felt extremely weird. I have never been that sick from a burn before. I have never been that badly burnt before either. My husband had to help me take several cold showers which was absolutely horrible and go to Walmart at 11 to get aloe Vera so that I could get some rest since we were leaving early the next morning for vacation. I didn’t even know if I was going to be able to go on vacation at that point. Tanning beds are dangerous and it is important that your staff is properly trained and knowledgeable with each bed. Not only that, as a business owner myself, your staff needs to be taught to be attentive to each person and their skin type and warn people how strong your beds are. You have these young teenagers who are worried about other things and don’t seem concerned with your safety. You need to educate your staff so that they can educate your customers. This almost ruined my vacation and I had to spend several days in pain barely unable to enjoy myself because it was so uncomfortable to wear clothes. Luckily my mother makes her own bath and skin products from all natural ingredients and she makes an after sun pure aloe that healed me fairly quickly and made me feel better. The spot I was burnt the worst is still healing. Tanning is not something to take lightly. Educate and train your staff to pay attention to your customers. I will not be back. So I paid $240 to tan for 8 days and get the worst burn of my life….completely absurd!Services: Tanning

I hope they never become anything like “At The Beach”. I’ve had mostly positive experiences with Tan Your Moon at all three locations. Their hours are great, most of the staff I’ve had the chance to meet are genuine and caring, and they maintenance their beds better than any salon I’ve come across so far. My favorite places to tan in the Tulsa area by far.
