Very understaffed. Only one employee. Made me wait outside for >20 min on 61st and Peoria because the one employee had a task and couldn’t leave the store open while doing that task. This is as I showed up for my reserved time. Wouldn’t use again.

I returned a truck on my grandmother's behalf, but despite my instructions to return it to the original rental location, the employee processed the return at his location and consulted his manager, seemingly prioritizing additional charges. This disregard for my instructions, coupled with unprofessional conduct such as discussing other customers within earshot, warrants a formal complaint to the Better Business Bureau.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made it easy to rent a truck. Then I returned it after hours on the app. It was very easy.

I have used them for years and didn't have a problem until a new heavy set woman gave me hell for being out of breath and in a hurry. She wouldn't let me speak and I about had a heart attack just trying to explain someone else made the reservation for me. Some people are so rude they delay legitimate business. This would've been 5 stars if not for one rude customer service agent that a made a whole move get delayed by a full day.

Although I had reserved my truck and flatbed tow trailer a full week ahead of time, the reserved tow trailer was sent out in error right before I arrived. Their initial solution was to send me across town to another location to pick up a different one myself. Due to some issues that prevented me from doing that, the solution finally came that they would go pick it up for me. I really felt like that should have been the first solution offered since they created the problem.
Secondly, check in is now done through an app, which means that the store location is minimally staffed if you have any issues. This is much different than previous rentals many years ago when a lot attendant made sure you were ready to go. The app messed up, wasting again more time.
I had to take the rental truck back to the location to pick up the missed trailer. All in all, I would say that an entire hour of useless frustration was spent just trying to get a truck.

They have you in and out in less than 20 minutes. Always reserve your u haul before coming so they can have the right size truck you need.
