John D is rude and off putting I come here all the time to refill propane never had a problem til him he gave me misleading info and had no customer skills what so ever.. the ladies that work here are great though

Here now at 6:52pm. Not another customer here to help. I go inside to ask for propane the 2 girls behind the counter instruct me to go outside to the tank. (It’s 30degrees and windy) I go out there waiting. I watch the girls through the window continue to chat amongst each other. Eventually they slowly start getting their coats on as I walk back inside to ask the hold up. The taller of the girls proceeded to yell at me that they are on their way, and they’ve been outside all day in the cold. Absolutely terrible customer service. She threatened to not serve me and I instructed her that’s fine and I would be happy to call and report the way I was treated because they felt it more important to finish their conversation and leave a customer standing out in the cold, then to come help them and hurry them off the lot.

We packed my elderly mother-in-law's entire life into their 26ft truck. Headliner was falling down, something within the dash was loose and banging around, not all of the dash lights worked, headlights were pointing in opposite directions and extremely dim(one dimmer than the other), lots of play in the steering wheel, the steering wheel was about a half inch in diameter and deteriorating, harsh grinding noise in the steering at low speeds, hazard lights only worked when vehicle was in drive, windshield wipers did not work, a quarter way through the trip the check engine light came on and oil pressure dropped to zero. The next morning we opened the overhead door to find that the cargo roof had leaked during the overnight rain.

Previous customer and staff left piercings in cupholder. Horrible gas mileage: 5mpg. They tried to charge me for a dolly which I didn't use and cleaning fees for an otherwise clean truck. The owner was rude. Their web app didn't work on my flagship phone.

I had very terrible experience with this place they charged me way too much money for a truck I wasn't supposed to buy I will never do business with them anymore neither is my fiancee penske company is better than uhaul company penske has staff that knows what there doing without messing up someone's bank account for the many right reasons and wrong reasons

When I arrived to pick up the reserved truck, the customer service representative seemed to not want to be there. I then had challenges with the payment at the terminal at this location and called my bank. The other lady who was trying to assist her was also not well versed in customer service skills. She implied I didn't know who to call regarding my bank. I put my banker on speaker, so she could tell staff that the error was not on my end. Both U-Haul representatives didn't seem to think it was on their behalf. So we tried a different terminal and my payment went through successfully. The service took about 45 minutes and to think I was done, I was given a truck with a white mouse on the instep waiting as I opened the door. I was disgusted and outraged to have seen a rodent. I immediately went back in to tell the customer rep and she attempted to make light of the situation by telling me about what other animals have been left inside of the trucks. Another gentleman who worked there went to grab me another vehicle and checked it before bringing it around.

The 3500 S. Sheridan location is clean and nice. We all have had, or will have bad experiences at different U-Haul locations. I know I have. The one thing to take away when you're getting help in a business such as this, is to remember to be kind and understanding, communicate your concerns to the U-Haul representative that's helping you. The U-Haul representative in turn should do the same. The experiences I had was at a U-Haul location out south, and I have had some very nasty unkind employees, but when I walked into this location, I was greeted right away, and I was helped right away. I would use this location again. Everyone have a blessed day.

Throughout the years I have rented approximately 40/50 times from uhaul (mostly car haulers from different locations in Tulsa). I've never had the most friendly experience dealing w/ employees at Uhaul but I've put up w/ it since I've needed their equipment. What happened to me yesterday was the worst of the worst. If there was a way for me to give a negative star rating (-1) instead of a 1 star I would do it immediately!! The personnel at this location (35th/Sheridan) put me in a mechanically unsound car hauler. (I have pictures to prove it) when I returned to the store to show them the terrible situation (the suspension spring had fallen off) they sent me to a different store to pick up a different car hauler, (no apology for having put me in such a dangerous situation, no attempt to make-up for my time lost) they simply sent me on my way. When I returned the second car hauler to the store it belonged (11th & memorial)... they charged me over $200!!! They said it was wrong place return & I had earned the extra fees!...remember, I have pictures & receipt to back-up my claims. I will be taking this issue all the way to uhaul hq. I wish there was a way for me to upload my pictures here so there wouldn't be a shadow of a doubt about my legitimate accounts against this location/company.

The staff at this location was wonderful the general manager was so helpful and helped me understand the process of how it all works my first truck broke down and they gave me a new one within the hour I will only deal with this location from here on out thank you Tanya and your staff

Very poor customer service. Stood in the lobby for almost 30 minutes before somebody came in from outside to greet me. With all the trucks and trailers they had on the lot, they stated they did not have one I could use for a one-way rental. They suggested I make a reservation but it may be days before they had one available. Regional office called me a couple hours after my departure and said yes it would definitely be days and did not care to take a complaint about my wait time at their local branch. Penske got me in same day and I saved myself $200. Go Penske!

Always have great customer service, from my now 4 rentals. Fast service, really quick and easy to rent and return. Of course, if there’s a bit of a line it can take a minute, but definitely not DMV definition of waiting in line. Have a huge selection of trailers. Would recommend this location and I’ll continue to use this location for my rental needs.
