I needed a quick truck rental a day early so I could get some things moved before the storms blew in. This place easily accommodated my changes, and the manager was exceptionally professional. I highly recommend this for U-Haul rentals.

The GM Kris is very nice and knowledgeable also very helpful! Even when the store is very busy she knows how to tackle every task with a breeze. With every question I had she had the answer, she really went above and beyond to make sure my trip was safe. This location is really the best I'd send everyone and their mother here, she is definitely welcome to the cook-out!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. I had a terrible experience with this U-Haul’s hitch installation service that I feel others should be aware of.
I was told the hitch installation on my vehicle (a Chevy Traverse) would take about 2.5 hours, but it ended up taking over 6 hours. After the long wait, the girl came out and casually apologized, saying, “Sorry, I’ve never done a Traverse install before.” This was extremely concerning, especially considering they advertise themselves as certified hitch installers.
As I drove off, I heard a strange noise and discovered that they had left ratchet straps under my car. I have no idea why ratchet straps would even be used in a hitch installation, but leaving them behind shows a complete lack of care and attention to safety.
Even worse, I drove 300 miles towing a trailer with no functioning trailer lights because of their improper installation. I was completely unaware the lights weren’t working, which put me in an unsafe and potentially illegal situation on the road. I later took my vehicle to a Chevy dealership, where I was informed that U-Haul not only installed the wrong wiring harness but also failed to ground the wires at all, meaning the lights never could have worked.
I wasted so much time, money, and energy fixing the damage and mistakes caused by their team, and I was placed in an unsafe position due to their negligence. This experience was frustrating, stressful, and frankly unacceptable for a service that claims to be professional and certified. To make things worse, they never gave me back the hitch cover for my rear bumper. When I went back to retrieve it, they claimed they no longer had it. That’s another $200 out of my pocket due to their carelessness.
Between the wasted time, unsafe installation, and out-of-pocket expenses totaling over $1,000, this was an incredibly stressful and costly experience. I expected professional service and got the opposite.
I absolutely cannot recommend this U-Haul for hitch installation. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere reputable. This was a mess from start to finish.

Agent said that they do not rent moving blankets for one way rentals as I have done many times before at U-Haul. He just didn’t want to be bothered. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Train your U-Haul employees to not tell customers they are getting there deductible back tell they get their receipt back unprofessional can’t believe you have to be perfect on how many miles you use we said 90 miles we used 126 miles they were not clear you have to bring the U-Haul back to this location OR it’s a $40 charge ALL U- Haul DOES IS TAKE YOUR MONEY YOU DONT PAY FOR WHAT ITS ACTUALLY WORTH 210 dollars for 126 MILES IS BS.

The ladies that helped me didn't explain there wasn't a ramp in the 10 foot truck before rented it told them I was moving heavy furniture. Then I tried to rent it another day the guy said no he had someone coming at 11 to get it. Mind u there's 3 trucks that size outside and if I kept it there would be a 50 dollar charge even tho I explained I was having trouble without a ramp and I got it back on time then the amount it was suppose to be was a lot more then I expected and told I kno it's extra for miles but not $158 in fees. I definitely won't refer anyone or use uhaul again. The other truck company's are up front.

The truck felt very loose on the road with a/c so loud you couldn’t talk to one another (they told us when we picked it up that it’s fine, but obviously it isn’t normal). When we picked the truck up, it only had 1/4 tank of fuel in it (should be unacceptable), When we brought the truck back, I actually put an extra gallon in just so there wouldn’t be any argument, but the area you return the truck to is on an incline, which made the tank read lower. The tenant attempted to charge us $21 for the 30 or so miles we drove, even after I put 5 gallons of fuel in the truck. When I showed him the photo I took of the fuel gauge when we left, he still insisted I owed $11 for fuel. When I asked him to move the truck so it wasn’t on an incline and the fuel gauge raised above where it was when we picked it up, he said ok, you’re correct, but then charged us the $11 anyway. My girlfriend was told it would be $30-40 to rent the truck, and we ended up paying almost $140 all said and done. We will not be doing business with uhaul ever again. While Penske does charge more, at least their trucks are safe to drive and fully operational, where as this truck needed a major overhaul and some maintenance done.

Tried calling to reserve a truck and the lady on the phone rejected me saying I’m on “e alert” and upon me asking why she said something quickly and then hung up on me and upon calling back they won’t answer my call.
Idk what kind of business she’s trying to run but I’ll never recommend someone to them or go back there myself. That lady needs fired asap.
