Staff are rude. They monitor what you wear, and instead of coming to you as an adult to discuss the matter, they stare you down and passive aggressively tell you what you can’t wear. There are limited resources available. I don’t know who’s in charge, but they need to have a staff meeting and go over what customer service means. I shouldn’t have to drive to Tandy just to receive good customer service. Sad what this location has become. I haven’t met one individual with an ounce of empathy in their body. Disappointed to say the least.

My point in joining the YMCA was to exercise in the pool. Because of joint issues, I can not do any other type of exercise. I paid 79.35 on 8/26 which included a 60.00 sign-up fee that was waived when people joined after Sept 1. I presented 9 times between 8/26 and Sept 5. I presented on the 5th and was told for the 2nd time I could not use the resistance pool. At that point, I want my money back. I was told that a "director" would call me. I have not heard from anyone. When I called I was given the option of leaving a voicemail. This is horrible service. You can't staff the pool but don't tell customers that face to face. I have dyslexia which makes life hard for me as I do not read or write very well it is, and the person who canceled my membership was less than kind about my disability. How things and people have changed for the worse. Never never never again. I my opinion you dont even deserve 1 star.

If you join the Y for the pool, beware! It is almost impossible to swim! Note the number of days the pool is closed, no daytime swimming for children. Lab swim is hit or miss when it is open. After driving the distance it may be closed for a number of reasons. Waited 30 min past opening time for lifeguard to check chemicals once and many times when swimming labs had to evacuate the pool every 15 minutes for the lifeguard to have a bathroom break. This has been the circumstances for at least a year!

The facility is a great place for the family or just you to go exercise and the staff is above and beyond helpful . They stay on top of keeping it all clean and neat , would definitely recommend checking it out if you have not

Cool place to exercise in peace. I love the lazy river and the very large pool. As a lady of size, struggling to start my weight loss journey, I wish they would put the little white chairs back in the pool area for people to use, instead of stacked up near the lode guards to hold their fans up.

My family loves spending time together at the swimming pool. My 8 year old and his friend have improved their swimming with kind guidance of the lifeguards. The staff are so pleasant and helpful and we’re looking forward to checking out the other offerings at Hutcherson YMCA.

My 15 y/o son plays basketball. So we went to our neighborhood Y — Hutcherson Y — one Sunday, to get some shots up, to improve his shooting. After 10 minutes, we were kicked off the court because of a new pickle ball league. I’m like nobody cares about that here! They told me to go to Tandy or Owasso (20 min drive) instead. Then, I noticed lots of people not from here, replace us on the court. This is what happens when people outside a neighborhood dictate what goes on inside your neighborhood. It’s not worth my $50/month membership. Being that with school, weekends are our only times to go to the Y, I’m closing my membership after nearly 20 years.

The staff at Hutcherson are friendly and knowledgeable about services available and insurance sponsored activities. This facility is Always very clean and the Youth basketball and volleyball programs are excellent. My 4 granddaughters ages 4-13yrs all enjoy playing and it’s affordable for their parents. Keep up the good work in Tulsa and it’s surrounding community.

I recently joined the YMCA & am in awe at some of the amenities at the different locations. My young son will get to start swim lessons soon! And of course my infant has got to go swimming and had the best time. Most of the YMCA staff has been super helpful, supportive, and non-judgmental (with 2 in particular, at 2 seperate locations, going above and beyond in the areas of friendliness, knowledgeability, and kindness.) My family qualifies for the one of the more affordable plans so when I think of what I was paying for just a gym membership 2 years ago, with no kids activities included, I can't belive I wasted the money! I'm excited to explore all that the YMCA has to offer and anticipate being a longterm member. As a single parent family of 4, there's nowhere else that offers something for all of us at such a great price! Now how do we get signed up for Zumba & Baby Yoga? ?

This ymca is pretty good, it has plenty of exercise equipment and decent swimming facilities (which includes a lazy river/resistance pool especially good for those who need swimming for pain relief/physical therapy.)It looks like some people think that this branch is “ghetto” but the ladies who work here were always helpful and courteous to me so far and I haven’t had a problem yet.

The Hutcherson Y is my favorite. It's the friendliest and most inclusive. The employees and customers are SO NICE. I get a good feeling just pulling into the parking lot. THANK YOU, HUTCHERSON YMCA
