Terrible experience with a VERY rude pharmacist who talked down to me after he clarified he'd been there for 16 years... and then continued to "mansplain" why he refused to fill my prescription because my doctor is out of state and it's controlled. Even thought I'm here in Tulsa for school and have been filling the exact prescription for two years this way, which Walgreens would have record of. This week I got hit with the flu (which f****** sucks don't recommend) and had a coworker offer to pick up my meds for me. When I called prior to get information on what she needed from me to do that, he VERY rudely declared with a scoff and lots of negative attitude that he would not fill it and that Ive never filled there before (not true) and treated me like absolute trash. I have never had such a terrible encounter. I'm a pre nursing student, and previously a pharmacy tech and am very clear on what is ethical and allowed. My doctor is very well accredited and works in a very established hospital, and I've been filling the same medications since 2013. The worst bedside manor, with a condescending accusatory pharmacist. Hope you catch him on a better day. I transferred everything to Walmart. They're cheaper and MUCH nicer.

I don't write reviews often, but this one takes the cake. I planned to get the flu vaccine for my family of four. I called the Walgreens pharmacy nearest to my house, but they were out of stock. I then called this pharmacy, confirmed with the pharmacy representative that they had a supply on hand, and verified that my insurance would cover the cost. Several hours later in the day I called this pharmacy once again to confirm that they still had enough of the vaccine for my family of four. We arrived at this pharmacy 45 minutes later and were promptly greeted by a tech; however, the tech did not know how to place the order for a flu shots in the computer system. He alerted his coworker who acknowledged that we were there to get the flu shot and would help us after he finished with his current customer (the only customer at the counter.) Apparently there was some issue with the customer's account in their computer system, so we continued to wait...for twenty minutes while a line developed behind us. Finally, the tech received assistance from another pharmacy employee who took over the issue. The tech came back to me only to notify me that the pharmacist told him they ran out of stock. I told the tech and the pharmacist that I called earlier to confirm their ability to serve my family of four, and that we had been waiting for 20 minutes after having already notified the pharmacy why we were there. I asked the pharmacist if he could recommend another location that could serve us, and he shrugged saying the inventories rotate often. This pharmacy needs to ease off the prescription quotas and place more emphasis on the quality of customer service and the training of their staff. Unless a bus of people arrived just before us, I'm not sure how their inventory of flu vaccines diminished so quickly from when I called 45 minutes ago. It would have been nice if the employees who answer a customer's question over the phone actually check their information before giving out an inaccurate answer. We will not use this location again.

After sitting at the drive thru window for 15 minutes, no one acknowledged me or helped me. I left to go to a different Walgreens.
