Lady was the only one working and had no knowledge of computers. Also this place doesn’t buy computers unless they are almost brand new i guess. My computers were less than a year old, had windows 11 as they required and they wouldn’t purchase them for what i was asking and i said how much will they buy them for and she just flat out said the owner didn’t want to buy from me.

I have relied on this place for around 20 years to help me navigate buying a computer most suited for the full span of what I want to learn and create with it. The staff here is patient and helpful. They look for ways to keep the cost down and spare the customer any unnecessary hardship. I appreciate that kind of service. It keeps me coming back year after year for maintenance and upgrades. I value the ability to trust their advice.

So I went in telling them I need something pretty basic to for my wife to do work at home. I found some decent stuff at WalMart that would’ve done the trick but figured I’d use this place. At first I got my stuff thinking it was going to be good. It was a bit more expensive than other options but not terribly more.
Then I get it home to find they didn’t give me all the cords. So I gotta go back up there and get that.
I finally got it all hooked up and ready to go. I was going to install the software for the printer when I realized there was no disc drive! I just assumed it would. No, it didn’t. Ok so most software you can download from the web, so I can work around that.
I go to setup the Wi-Fi only to find the stupid thing didn’t have Wi-Fi! I had to go get a Wi-Fi adapter from Office Depot just for the internet to work where my computer is!
So I get that all but then I tried YouTube music. No, no internal speaker… So I had to go and buy speakers for the stupid thing.
So after upgrading it I will have spent $200 more than I could have. And there is a no returns policy so I had no choice but to upgrade it. This place sucks.

I brought my computer in on a Monday due to its random crashing, and they said it would be couple days to get it on the bench to diagnose. On Friday I called to find out the status because they hadn't communicated anything up to this point. They said they hadn't determined what the issue was and need more time. On Wednesday the next week I drove over to ask status, once again no communication, and they said it was the CPU and that the operating system was corrupt. So I said pack it up I'll submit for a warranty from who I bought it from. I get it home and the computer doesn't even boot anymore and says the drive is missing.
How did we go from random crashes to a completely unusable PC in less that 2 weeks. Not to mention I had the honor of paying for this service. Keep this in mind if you choose to take your machine to these folks.

0/10 recommend - I was told on the phone that there were "hundreds" of desktop computers in stock. When I got to the store, I was told that there were only two computers on hand that would last longer than two years. I was also advised, by the store employee, not to put personal or sensitive information on the computer I was considering purchasing. I ended up taking my money to another computer store.

I usually use the 41st St location, but was over by 61st and Garnett today. They checked my PC over and had me back up and running in less than 10 minutes! Great selection of affordable PCs if yours isn't fixable.

Took my computer in for not turning on, they said they fixed it. I took it home and turned it on and still nothing… I fixed it my self and asked for a refund and they said we don’t do refunds. Sadly I’m out of luck but please take your business elsewhere!!

Ask them what year the computer was built they are trying to sell you!! I tried to get my computer serviced at this store but instead they tried to sell me a OLD USED computer for $800. When I told him it looked old he googled the date it was built (because they hide that part in the store) and said it was from 2018. I declined to buy it and asked for them to service my computer instead because buying a 5 year old computer for $800 seems like an 11th street car lot price. They were going to charge me $300 to add memory to mine instead. The next morning I called to check on it and they said it would be 2 or 3 more business days before they are even done. No sense of urgency to help customers even though I told them this was a rush. Don't even call before you goand expect them to remember you because they don't care and you will get a different story anyway depending on who you talk to. At this point I can't trust anyone at this store to help me. Picked my computer back up and will plan to buy a brand NEW computer. Done trying to get someone to help!!
