Wonderful staff and beautiful facility! We drove over an hour to use them for a couple reasons. 1. You aren't required to leave your baby overnight for a spay unless you request it. 2. They have a nurse that stays and checks on the hospitalized furbabies throughout the night. We will CONTINUE to use them because the whole process was informative and reassuring! They provide you with a pre-surgical consult as well as blood work done prior to surgery to ensure everything is good before putting your baby under. Then the veterinarian who performed the surgery calls you the minute your baby is out of surgery to keep you informed on how it went and when you can pick-up. I personally want this level of care when you are trusting a doctor with a beloved family member. I recommend Woodland Animal Hospital and will continue to use them for any and all surgical needs.Thank you Dr. Miller and Thank you to the wonderful ladies up front!!

Let's start by saying I've been taking my pets to woodland west for almost 20 years. I never had a problem until they started building all the facilities. A pattern emerged that I didn't see before. They tell me my pet needs surgery or to be put down. I put two of our lived family pets down . (Seperate occasions)Well , this time I took my pet in labor up to them and they said she needed an emergency c section or they would all die. $1600. I was $300 short. I left. Before I left they wanted me to sign a refusal treatment form . I said I'm not refusing treatment they were refusing me. I asked if I came up with the money could they do it. I was told yes. 20 minutes later I had it and called to tell them we were on the way. I was told "sorry we are booked for the day"... I asked about first thing in the morning and was told not for 4days. I I Sked what to do until then and was told there is no way the pips would make the day and the mom wouldn't make tomorrow. I was our ofluck. 2hours later they started being born. 10 happy and healthy german shepherd puppies. Everyone is healthy. They prey on people's love for their pets and attack them. I was told similar stories about the 2 I had put down. Because the only option they gave then was "surgery". I will never return or recommend any business their way. They should absolutely be ashamed. Thank you for nothing "Dr." ThomasonAnd your response is absolutely not true. You are money hungry to pay for your nice, giant facility and lost the care for a animals.unless you could afford emergency surgery at the drop of a hat. I know this has happened to others from them telling me.i understand you are going to say whatever it takes because it is your business. But you and I both know the truth. I authorized no tests, when I was asked about tests I said hold off until we talked about the exams. I just hope someone reads this and thinks twice.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I take my dogs there for routine and breeding services. I took my bulldog in 3 times to have progesterone tested, talked with the vet to decide a tentative time to do a surgical AI and then the day that she is ready and they guaranteed they would be available, the vet did not show up. The tech stated that he wasn't scheduled for that day and then another vet said he had a family emergency. This happened 3 months ago as well. They charged for all of the office visits and testing but can't follow through on the actual insemination.

I had to take one of the cats to Woodland West Animal Hospital on Sunday. I didn't have an appointment; I just walked in with the sick cat and was still seen by a doctor in less than 30 minutes. The doctor (and staff) did an excellent job of doing tests, x-rays, and administering fluids to my cat in a timely and professional manner. They had completed all of this work in less than 2 hours. The also gave me 2 medications to administer to my cat on my own at home. The next day, the Doctor called with the results of the blood work, and fortunately the cat came back with a clean bill of health. Apparently, my cat just had the flu for several days. The Doctor and the entire staff at Woodland West Hospital seemed to really care and be concerned for my pet. I was extremely pleased with the entire process at the hospital. I have used Woodland West before and have always been completely satisfied with their service. Very clean, very professional, and very thorough. I would highly recommend them for your pet needs.

I only came here because my vet doesn't have a constant doctor on staff. All I needed was an exam to re-up her seizure medicine. First off, they tried to charge me for two tests that they only recommended and didn't actually do. Then their vet somehow thought it was okay to write a controlled substance script on a normal form. When the pharmacy called them about it and asked them to call me, I didn't hear anything. My dog has now missed two doses of her meds and I have driven half an hour there and back twice now to get the correct form and still have to wait for the script to be filled. This place is a clown show that's dressed up nice for the more affluent suburb they're in and I'd rather take my dog to a Korean BBQ.

Woodland West treated us humans and our beloved cat with such grace, compassion, and respect when my 18+ year old Lexi had to be put down this past weekend. It was an emergency situation on a Sunday, she was having trouble walking and wouldn't stop drinking water. We called and got an appointment the same day. The vet gave us several options, but Lexi was too far gone to realistically prolong her life any further due to kidney failure. The staff were more than accommodating, and no one made us feel ashamed for not choosing a treatment option that would be expensive and unrealistic for us to implement. They took care of the cremation, made sure we got paw prints, and a beautiful box for the remains. They sent us a lovely card signed by the staff. I am crying from joy and relief and not sadness anymore. Thank you, Woodland! I hope you will be able to help my other cat pass over to be reunited with Lexi when the time comes. Thank you so much ♥️

My cat Felix has had two FHOs done by Dr. Yeagley and he has recovered fantastically. The staff was very friendly and they were able to get Felix in surgery immediately after the second hip issue. I appreciated the eagerness they showed to get Felix back to his normal self very much. Thank you guys!

Thank you to the staff at Woodland West for helping us in our time of need. This morning, I found our fur baby Tigress in her kennel. We initially called our vet at Alta Vista to do her cremation. But we wanted to do a necropsy to see what was going on, and the staff referred us to you guys for the necropsy and cremation services. Thankfully, we were still in the system since we had come to you with our former furbabies(Cupid, Jackson Andrew,Lucky, and Oreo, who have all passed). Thank you for helping us get all the information updated, etc... If you are looking for a caring staff, Woodland West is a great number to have in your list or even on speed dial.

We haven't taken our pants to Woodland Hills West for around 10 years now. We have never experienced the care and friendliness like we have here with other vets in the past. From the receptionist all the way to the vets there always ready to answer your questions and give you advice for. We moved a couple years back where we were only 8 mi away now we're almost 20 miles out, and would never consider going elsewhere.

Always nervous to take our dog to the vet because he is not the best around new people... well he had a Hotspot that he chewed bald and had no other option. It was definitely the easiest vet appointment I've been to. Robert Miller did an amazing job with our nervous mini Aussie, he does an amazing job with scared/nervous dogs.Reasonable pricing and awesome staff when you walk in! We'll be back!

My indoor cat, Neo, after 21 years was always healthy and hated the vet. He went sporadically, but always with caution. He was always calm at home, but not vet friendly. I had him for over 20 years of my life, even way past friends or relationships and was an integral part of my family and close friends, but his time came before I wanted it to after so many years. This team was awesome, even with his temprement, straight to the point, and also very caring! He had a heart murmur with his old age and it finally came down to severe stomatitis. It was a rough time for sure because I didn't want to let him go and didn't want him to be in pain either after knowing all of his behaviors, but the doctors were all great and knowledgeable and understanding to let me know what's up and also give me valuable feedback. We tried antibiotics, but with his age, it worked a bit temporarily, but words cannot express that so much changed drastically for his age so fast and he was in rough shape and visibly in pain. They didn't try to push anything I wasn't comfortable with and also let me know all the risks as well for him with his age. I had to let him go, and I knew it was coming, but the team at Woodland was extremely caring and patient while my whole family was there for his euthanasia that was very difficult for me. They also sent me a card with hand signed signatures from the team for him that meant a whole lot to me! Thank you so much and appreciate your professionalism and just super caring! Big hugs and thanks!

Update: Took my girl in for her 8 week follow up and all went well she was in and out quick and all healed up... now for rehab and getting her leg strong again! **I live 2 hours away and the helped me with scheduling to fit around my drive time. Once I arrived the staff was very friendly and was very sweet to my dog. The Dr. called me daily with updates on my girl, it was very refreshing to actually talk to the Dr. On checkout they explained everything very carefully and made me feel at ease. I was very nervous about leaving my girl for three days at a vet 2 hours away but the experience went very well and they helped me to not be so worried. Thank you Woodland!
