Update: I was invited to come back in. I did and was treated with respect. The stylist was willing to redo my hair color. I am very happy with the way my hair turned out and the professionalism of the manager & stylist.
I've been going to this studio for about a year. I've have 5 different stylist. 3 have left, the most recent one is leaving and the one that I got for a color didn't even get it close to what I wanted. I showed her the picture SEVERAL times. I expressed that the results were not what I was expecting. She offered to have me come back in for a redo, which I was going to do until the manager said charge it as a touch up! No thanks. Im not going to pay again.

I can’t say enough good things about Chauntell! She is truly a master at her craft and has a genuine passion for helping her clients achieve their hair goals. From the moment I walked into her studio, I felt welcomed and at ease.
Chauntell’s friendly demeanor made the entire experience comfortable, and her expertise really shines through in the quality of her work. I had been struggling with my hair for a while, and after just one session with her, I was amazed by the transformation. Going from box black hair dye to a stunning blonde was no small feat, but she handled it beautifully.
Not only did my hair look incredible, but I also felt a significant boost in my confidence. Chauntell really listens to her clients and makes them feel valued. The studio itself is gorgeous, adding to the overall experience. I’m so grateful to have found her—she’s the best!

Super pleased with the cut James gave me! I have been in Tulsa for 3 months. Upon moving, there are several new services one has to find--dentist, nail salon, car mechanic--and hairdresser is at the top of the list! I searched reviews and decided to give Z Salon a try after my first choice did an okay job but did not wow me. James listened to what I was going for and nailed it. Such a kind demeanor, too. I think this is definitely home for my hair! (We'll see when it's time for highlights!)

The place was clean, music was good, and receptionist was friendly. Jessica who cut my hair did not really talk to me during the cut which was a little awkward. I asked some questions about my hair care and she answered. I had shown her a photo with tons of layers and she agreed to do it, then when she initially revealed my hair it didn’t have any layers other than my curtain bangs. I then asked for more layers and she did it, but those layers were not fully even. My cut was a base of $55 for a first time customer.

This place was highly recommended by a neighbor. The initial interaction with the receptionist was not friendly nor welcoming but the perception of the salon changed completely as the hairdresser were friendly, attentive and professsionals. Dustin took very good care of my hair needs and even found a same day spot in his busy calendar. My daughters also left happy with their haircuts. Thank you.

Me and my mom wanted two different things she wanted blonde highlights and I wanted a honey balayage but turned out to look the same didn’t get what we asked for just got dark hair with bronze streaks then charges a lot for something we didn’t ask for nor liked

Always great service here. What's really nice is when I NEED an appointment (we all know how that is!), if my usual person isn't available, I can always go to someone else & know I'll still get a good haircut. I'm disappointed they closed the south location as it was about 5 minutes from my house, but I'm willing to drive to Brookside for good service & good quality.

I was so happy to finally find a high quality, reasonably priced salon in South Tulsa. Brittany always did a great job, and it was such a relief to know I was going to get a great trim every time. So I scheduled another visit online (4th appointment), and I received a call from a Z Studio receptionist to see if I was available on another day. At no time did anyone inform me the appointment would be at the Brookside location, as for some reason unknown to me, the South Tulsa location has closed. I discovered the issue when I received an online request to confirm the appointment. I would think the fact that I would need to go to a different salon would be critical information to know for clients that received services at another location. It is upsetting to have to drive an extra half hour to a congested area during lunch hour, and I have to reschedule another appointment because of the additional driving time. I don't even know if my stylist will be the same Brittany!! It should be standard procedure to inform clients of major changes to their businesses so people don't have to scramble to adjust their lives to fit the new business model .
