“We stayed there a week 8 years ago when our car broke down on I-44 as we were trying to get to Lawton. Owner was nice. Even checked on us when we didnt sit outside one evening because it was so hot. He took us to our car on the turnpike so we could retrieve clothes and other personal belongings. Didn't even charge us gas even though he had to go all the way to Afton to turn around. The room was dated and small but comfortable. Because of them, we chose to stay and make a go of it in vinita and I am happy to say we are doing ok today in a nice rental home with good jobs.”
