I LOVE this place!! My sister and I did one of the skull painting classes and it was awesome fun!! The lady that ran the class, Deborah, was super nice, helpful, creative, and patient, as we were the last ones to leave, almost an hour past the scheduled time because we paint slow! Lol But the she let us finish anyways! Plus, she helped us with her creativity and epic drawing skills, when we were stumped on what to paint on the sugar skulls. Deborah gives you the option to freehand your skull painting, or she'll draw designs on it for you, which she is really good at! (I chose to freehand mine, but needed help with the flower and paisley, which I ended up not painting them as well as she drew them but none the less, she drew them on perfectly). Another thing that I loved about this place, is that they also have a wide variety of unique and creative items for sale, like decorations, jewelry, trinkets, clothing, furniture, etc., most of which are made by local artists!! I got my daughter an awesome owl locket necklace for under $10(I think it was $7 or $8), and my sister got a beautiful dress that has a painting on it, done by Deborah, who taught our class, and together we got our mom some gorgeous and original pieces of jewelry! All this shopping was done after the class too, even though it was late into the night due to us taking longer to paint our skulls, Deborah still let us shop because we couldn't figure out what we wanted to get before the class started. I will definitely be back to shop again and take some more of their other types of classes! They have many creative art classes, that are inexpensive compared to other's I've seen, and they're in a wonderful location, taught by very talented artists! Oh, and they give you bottled water or coffee, or you can bring your own drinks! She also said, she can hold private classes, which would be a fun party idea! Thank you On the Edge with Skulls & Stones, for a fun and memorable experience!! And thank you to our teacher, Deborah, for being so nice, patient, helpful, creative, and all around better than I could have hoped for!! You are a real artist and wonderful teacher Deborah!!
