Run! We used to like this bank, but it's gone down hill big time in the past few years. I'll add that I'm a credible person who has really good credit and does everything I'm supposed to do when it comes to paying bills. Here are the problems: 1. No one seems to know what's going on at this place. 2. Communication with costumers is lacking. 3. Website and app are terrible. (This has always been the case.) 4. This place is a bureaucratic mess with strange policies unlike anything I've ever seen. This has lead to the following issues. 1. We set up a car loan. (It was our second one to take out with them.) When doing so my wife asked to set up autopay like our other car loan. The person said that wouldn't be a problem, and my wife assumed the payment had been set up. It hadn't. Their process of setting this kind of thing up is much more difficult than other institutions. They didn't contact us about the missed payment. You're supposed to log into the website to view all communication, but the website and app are a mess. We can never log in. Our password never works, and we're always locked out of our account. My assumption is there's a lot of fishing going on, and the result is customers get locked out. Anyway, they hit my credit, and this is my first late payment on my credit report EVER...in almost 30 years of credit history. It would have been nice to at least get an email stating that we had missed a payment. It's been like pulling teeth to get it removed, and no one knows what's going on at this place. One person says "do this," so you do that. Another person says that didn't work, because you're actually supposed to "do this." The place is a bureaucratic mess. At one point I was on the phone, and my wife chimed in. The person heard it and wouldn't continue the conversation without proving my identity. No other company does this garbage. I think WEOKIE must have major problems with criminals trying to access costumer accounts. I assume most companies have this problem, but other businesses deal with it better and more professionally. They don't deny costumer's access to their accounts. 2. I regularly get emails from other banks giving vague details like "you have an automatic payment coming up" or other similar emails. Of course, they don't include sensitive account info, but WEOKIE just sends emails saying that you need to log into their website to view something. This would be fine, if the website or app worked. It's a nightmare. My advice...do not go anywhere near this place if you have descent credit. I had perfect credit before coming to here. I've never felt so insulted in my life. They treat me (and I assume all their customers) like low lives who don't pay bills. It's like a criminal investigation every time I call this place to get my account unlocked. (We have the right password, so something is happening on their end. This is the only place we have this problem.) Stay away. This is one of those companies that should just be aloud to take a capitalistic nose dive straight out of business.

The only thing that is consistent with Weokie is the fact they will hold charges sometimes 3-4 days to over draft your account. The algorithm knows if you have large auto drafts set to come out and will hold all charges for days until they can clear the large charge first then the small ones and will over draft as many as possible.

I am so impressed with the entire weekly federal credit union experience as an African-American it's not always easy to find public places that you are comfortable and this is definitely a place that I did not feel out of place or any kind of negative feeling Ryan is honestly the greatest. I don't know if he practiced trying to make people feel comfortable or if it's just part of his normal personality all I know is I felt like I had known him for years and I was so glad to have met him thank you for helping me thank you for being so nice and professional

We decided on weokie Federal Credit Union simply because it was close to our home and our business however after actually meeting some of the employees I am so happy that this is the credit union I chose I don't remember the names of the two ladies that initially helped me but I ended up getting a new account with Ryan Ryan made me feel so welcomed and comfortable this is the only Credit Union in Oklahoma I would ever recommend to anyone

I initially came to Weokie based on a recommendation, and very glad I did. Everyone I have come into contact w. from Michael to Ryan, and everyone in between at the branch. I was impressed with their excellent customer service. Rarely do you see this type of genuine service at all levels of a company. It was amazing to see how perfect everyone was for their jobs, it appeared as everyone truly enjoyed working there. I was also impressed to receive two separate emails from their Leadership team making sure I was taken care of. It is clear that Weokie has a great culture in place. I will be recommending to all my family and friends. 5 Stars!
