Do not rent from Avis choose another they left myself my wife and my 5-month-old infant stranded in BC with no vehicle because of some stupid internal policy

Extremely rude and bad service ! Do not rent from here or this location. I called to speak to someone to book a vehicle and they (manager) did not want honour the rental booking I got online and told me “ go ahead and rent the vehicle online , come tomorrow and you won’t have a car” the they hung up on me! This location was reported to customer service and this was escalated. Bad service ! No sense of customer supportRead all the reviews. Everyone has the same complaint RUDE. 3.5 stars explains it all.

Rented a 1 way from Montreal to Ajax. The Worst experience, beyond rude. Lesson learnt will pick up and return to a different location for future. Does not have the patience nor the necessary skill set to be in customer service or any related roles when dealing with customers. All the paperwork and insurance was duly paid and if not then Avis in Montreal would not have rented to me. Also important that Avis in Ajax know the different criteria for renting a car in different provinces. Quebec is 18 years just an fyi for the learned folks in the Ajax location. It would be basic knowledge to have being in a rental business and not yell. The Avis in Montreal has been great for customer service and most patient.

The front desk guy(while returning the car)was very very rude, doesn't have basic sense of talking with customers. Beware of this guy. Other then that front desk guys behavior Avis rental car was good.

Always come here to rent a car when coming into town to visit family and my experience is always great. They go above and beyond every time to give me the best price and upgrade my car for me. I recommend anyone to come here for great customer service and good prices.

So rude guys, They give you wrong information. The guy told me the insurance is 60$. But when I went the charges were 220$. They shouted at me for me asking them about the insurance. They are so rude. Avoid these guys. No manners. The guy named Sen was so rude and AVIS should deal with him.

Very pleased with the service :) I was picking up my car early morning and the agent had the car running and warm when I arrived (A+!!!)The agent also took the time to explain to me where to do after hours key drops, showed me where there was a dent already on the car so that I was aware and other general items.Car was clean and serviced!Will be a repeat customer for sure :)Keep p the good work team!

So far, the worst experience ever with renting a car, took a 7 seater car but when we picked it up, the rear seats at the end were folded.After we got the car home, and unfolded the rear seats, the car seats were literally littered with dog food all over the seats.They didn't even took the initiatives to clean the car before handing it out to the customer.Would just suggest to check around the car carefully before you pick it up.?
