It is always a pleasure to shop there.Even when the lines are long in the checkout, they move quickly.We have never had a negative experience in the many years that we have shopped at Costco.

I've been a Costco member for many years and always enjoyed it. However, last night's visit was quite unusual. The cashier seemed mentally distracted, asking if the membership card belonged to me. i said "yes mom". Despite confirming and completing the payment, she didn't realize it had gone through. After mistakenly mentioning they don't accept Visa, she questioned if certain items were mine after scanning it... It was a strange first-time experience. I hope Costco management addresses this and provides mental health guidance to ensure employee and customer satisfaction.

Love that they check the parking lot on a regular for illegal wheelchair/accessible parked cars. They literally ticket them, unlike the Warden and Matkham locations. Great job and kudoos to mgmt on this huge issue. Love that the gad station is located at this Costco as well.

DO NOT TRUST VIRTUAL LINE IN COSTCO MOBILE STORE. They allow people to jump lines, I got affected after waiting more than 2.5 hours in the store and see a customer who is actually after me in the virtual line(he said #5 in line when asked, I was #1) getting served just because he was standing in front of me when it was 8.15PM. I wanted no trouble, so I waited patiently hoping they will serve me after that guy. But they ask me to come next day as they are closing 8.30PM. I should have pushed for my turn and not trust them and their bogus virtual line. They don’t even have curtesy to extend 5 mins for mistake they made. SALMAN from mobility sales was not willing to extend 5 mins @8.25pm for the mistake he made to allow other person jump the line. May be it’s because I was waiting to return a phone which does not make any money to them and our time is just a joke to them. I did report to store manager and left, what more options poor customers like us have.

Great experience with Customer Service! We just signed up for the basic membership! The Promotion they are running is to try and get you to do the Executive Member! It’s your typical signup incentives instead of $60 you get $120 but the membership is more. Unless you go to Costco over 2x per month it is only worth getting the most basic membership! You can sign up for the executive to get the $120 and then immediately downgrade.

This Costco has the best service in Durham. The staffs are very friendly and welcoming.The only drawback is not have many new products (mostly snacks)like other Costco. I'm just curious why some items are unavailable in here. If the chain store, shouldn't all the items be the same?

Usually love shopping here, as we recently moved to Ajax. However my outlook has changed drastically due to a cashier named LINDA. Extremely rude, with zero, I mean ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. I will not be returning here, and will now be shopping at the Oshawa location….

Normally a fantastic shopping experience. Today LINDA in cash ruined my view of this place. RUDE is an understatement. Totalling dismissive of my elderly mother in law. It was shocking and embarrassing to us and the others in line. Miserable is the nicest term I can use to describe her. How’d she even get a job as a cashier? Pathetic.

Great place to shop recommend coming here during early weekdays to avoid the rat race. 4 Stars only because they don't adequate staff on the weekends looking around for a sales associate can be very challenging. One thing I am very happy about is post-Pando we can finally get back to sampling. Love the bulk buys, great for prepping.

Costco in Ajax manager is a first class axxhole and always has been every interaction. Today was a special one! I was at the cash checking out and I want to pay for two boxes of chocolate cookies that for we're from my wife's girl guide group separately the cashier refused, saying I didn't have a business account? Why do I need a business account just to pay separately for two items? Sure enough, the manager just happen to be walking up and I recognize him from. Previous encounters he confirms that because I only have an executive account I can't pay for items separately I say to him, but what if I just pay for two items come back in line and pay again what's the harm? There's never any negotiation with this guy and what did the cashier do she crumpled my receipt and toss it at me and the manager always sides with the employees never the customers I hate his guts I spent $20,000 a year at that Costco no more after today soon as my membership runs out in January Finito.

Quite busy. Many people don’t realize there are others around them trying to get their grocery shopping done. Lots of people standing around. Costcos as busy as this one should have employees regulating visitor traffic. I also waited too long for my ice cream. Going by my order number, around 15 orders went ahead of mine.

You can't beat the prices! The only problem I find is that the packages are too big for smaller families, but hey that's the reason that you shop there, to get the bulk purchase. Anytime that you go there it will be busy in the store and the parking lot. So go at a time which is the start or closing times.

I prefer to fill up my tank at Costco as the gas prices generally 4/5 cents less than the other places. For shopping it is great if you have a big family and like to store things, generally you end up buying unnecessary things at the end. I like there tasting counters. You do get some good deals at a reasonable price around the holidays season. The worst thing abt Costco is they will check your membership card 2/3 times which doesn’t make sense for such a big brand. That very poor customer service and it sucks at times.

My experience with calling the warehouse and getting assistance from the administration department was outstanding. I spoke with Nicole about a week or so and she went above and beyond to help me find a product on each occasion I spoke with her. Although during that phone call that productive was unavailable at that time, yesterday she took the initiative to inform me that she found it. I’ve never experienced any person in a customer service role do this. I hope she gets the recognition she fully deserves from management and the people she works with ♥️. Thank you so much Nicole! I really needed that item as I am pregnant and struggling to carry things and now it’s a lot easier.
