Being just days before back to school I thought it would be a disaster, but the shelves were stocked and the staff was very helpful. They let me know they were there to assist without stalking me.

Let me just say this first. Customer Service will always win. Always. If you have seen my other Google Reviews you will know it is always about customer service.
My hubby doesn't shop with me much so this was a big outing for him. He usually just looks for the man chair and sightsees but he approached a lady looking for her expertise in proper support and arches so we could get right into business and hopefully speed up the search and learn something about footwear. He was very polite and precise "Excuse me, dear, this is what I'm looking for for my wife" to try to get some one on one attention to find the superior shoe. She stood up from stocking shelves and already had a look on her face like we were interrupting her. (Welcome to retail, lady.). I was happily looking at runners in her area and watched from the next aisle as she basically told him she didn't really know, didn't really care and didn't feel like helping us ... She could have just said "the Nikes are superior ... try asking the sales lady over there ..." or "I'm new, let's both find the answer together ...".
No smile. No apology. Perhaps she was new. Perhaps she had a thorn up her butt. She was just rude.
And, just like that ... we walked out that fine August 31 cheery afternoon. You do not deserve my business.

Amazing selection of shoes and lots of sizes are available. Staff were very kind and respectful. Especially one of the staff member's named Shrey was extremely kind, patient and helpful!

This is like a Marshall's but for shoes. And like I said in my review for Marshall's, I always feel like I stole something when I visit these stores. There's a ghetto-fabulous vibe that can only be beat by Off-5th.
This is a smaller DSW. The selection was lacking. And the prices were not all that great. Skip and go to the Sports Chek instead.

They have a great selection of footware at a good price. I found exactly what I was looking for. Staff was not the best at this location, but overall, I had a good experience.

Large retail establishment. Customers waiting for assistance for 15 minutes on a Saturday. There is room for improvement in the management of this situation.

Always have a positive experience coming here, they have lots of great deals and it's always clean! The store is huge so I can only imagine the work it takes.

Extreme attitude from one of your employees yesterday. I had asked where the box was for a sandal that was on display. She looked at me like I had 8 heads then grabbed the sandal from my hands.Another employee came over after as I'm sure he saw this interaction.
Not impressed, the rest of the staff were lovely but this one is a peice of work.
