1-Star Review: Extremely Disappointed — Would Not Recommend
I hired Let’s Get Moving for a move from Whitby to Vaughan, and the entire experience was a masterclass in operational failure.
First, the crew showed up two hours late with zero proactive communication. I paid for three movers, but only one person — Kirk — actually did the heavy lifting. The second mover helped a bit during loading but completely tapped out during unloading, which left one guy carrying the entire workload. Totally unacceptable.
They also arrived without a proper TV box, forcing us to risk transporting a $3,000 TV with no protection. They forgot wrapping tools even though we booked it in advance. On top of that, they dropped my couch cushions on the road during unloading. This is basic handling — not advanced logistics.
Two items were damaged during the move (one piece of furniture and one appliance). No ownership. No apology. Nothing.
The worst part? They held my belongings hostage, refusing to unload until they saw the payment on their end — even though I showed proof that we had already paid. They literally stood there, not unloading, and then charged me for the time they spent refusing to unload. That crossed a line.
Then came the surprise fees. They never communicated about a “universal travel fee” being an additional fee. which wasn’t explained anywhere in my estimate either. It felt shady and deliberately vague. And the claim that travel time wouldn’t count as labour hours? Also untrue — it absolutely got counted.
From start to finish, this was an unprofessional, stressful experience that created zero customer value. The only person who actually delivered was Kirk — the rest was chaos.
If you’re expecting transparency, reliability, or even basic accountability, look elsewhere.

Every step of the process was handled with care and attention to detail, making what could have been a stressful day completely smooth and worry free.

I recently used Let’s Get Moving for my move this week and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, everything was handled with professionalism and care. A special shoutout goes to Amrit Gill, Arsh Nagra, and Sam, who were absolutely amazing throughout the entire process.
They arrived on time, worked quickly, and handled everything with great attention to detail. What stood out the most was how friendly, respectful, and approachable they were. Moving can be stressful, but their positive attitude and efficiency made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.

From the moment they arrived, they were professional, punctual, and incredibly efficient. They handled all our belongings with great care, making sure everything was properly wrapped, packed, and moved without a single issue. What really stood out was their teamwork and positive attitude throughout the entire process — even with heavy furniture and tight spaces, they stayed courteous, patient, and solution-oriented.
Moving is usually stressful, but thanks to their effort, the whole experience was smooth and worry-free. I truly appreciate the hard work and dedication of Arsh , Sam & Amrit.
