Open spacious store with lots of variety! Always enjoy seeing all the creative things to do.
Remember that mating creative, positive things helps to rewire your brain away from all the negative everyday stuff. Try it out!
Just make sure to confirm a sale price is correct, because it may have been moved into the wrong section.

I purchased seasonal items from this store and attempted to return them within 10 days. When I initially went back to the store, the cashier advised that I simply needed to obtain an e-receipt and return with it. I then contacted customer care to request the e-receipt and was told I could return the items directly in store.
When I finally went in yesterday to make the return, the manager informed me that no returns were allowed. After explaining that both customer care and a cashier had advised otherwise, the manager stated that corporate does not know store policies and that the seasonal employee who gave me the information was untrained.
Overall, this location appears poorly managed. Information provided by both in-store staff and customer care seems to apply only at the manager’s discretion. This entire experience was a waste of time, and the interaction with the manager was unpleasant and dismissive, given that the incorrect information came from her own team.

Not sure why the coupon rules have changed here. You used to be able to scan the daily michaels coupon from your phone as the website provides the barcode. Apparently now you need to print out the physical coupon barcode or else they won’t accept it. There’s zero difference between the two so this seems ridiculous.

This store is a lot bigger than the one I usually go to in Pickering but customer service was atrocious. Had an employee named Lezley rudely brush me off as I was about to ask her for help, after being sent to her by another employee who couldn’t help me find what I needed. Don’t think it’s worth coming out for the larger variety, when you can’t find what you need anyways.

The Michales store at Ajax has a large assortment of art and craft supplies. Be it beads, charms, colouring and painting materials, wool, photo frames, artificial flowers and plants, baking supplies, stickers, paper articles, gifting items, candles (fragrant and otherwise), seasonal decorations etc.. An amazing store to explore for the artistically inclined and those who like handmaking stuff.
Loved the artificial flowers, beads and stones collection!! The assortment and pattern of colorful beads is mesmerizing. Staff is friendly and good customer service. Reasonably priced items. We bought some peculiar varieties of artificial flowers, some berry scented aroma candles, baking material and beads to give a hand at jewellery making.
Michaels has a concept similar to a Venus Traders and Stationary store found in Pune (India), only bigger.
A must visit!
