They service far surpassed our experience in other Pet Smart Locations

I am going to have to say that myself and my girlfriend went into this location after trying so many different foods on our 12 week American Bulldog Puppy and he had nothing but a upset stomach and so we were fortunate to be assisted by an employee with Her and colleagues expertise and helpfulness were commendable, and she efficiently addressed my queries about the food I was purchasing and the issues that we were having. They went above and beyond by answering questions about our puppy and what the best food was for him.

Expensive. There is absolutely no justification for those prices when you can find the same products elsewhere cheaper. In the US they are substantially cheaper. Next thing you know people are going to have to give away their pets… between feeding the human family vs the pet family, people will choose the human family. GREED!

Cashier line on weekends and even this Friday the wait is too long esp if you are standing there with your dog. Not enough staff here to help. People have questions about food etc and 10 people waiting in line with one cashier the rest are stocking

I recently visited Ren's Pets in Ajax to shop for my two dogs and had a mixed experience with their customer service. However, the wide selection of pet food, treats, toys, and other products certainly made the visit worthwhile.
On my last visit on July 30, 2023, I was fortunate to be assisted by an employee I had dealt with in the past. Her expertise and helpfulness were commendable, and she efficiently addressed my queries about the food I was purchasing. Moreover, she went above and beyond by answering questions about a dog trimmer I had bought the previous week. I left the store feeling satisfied with her assistance, and this exemplifies the type of customer service I hope to receive consistently.
However, I must acknowledge that my past experiences with customer service at Ren's Pets have been hit and miss. During a prior visit when I purchased the dog trimmer, I felt rushed and left with unanswered questions, which left me less than satisfied. The inconsistency in customer service is a concern as it affects the overall shopping experience and leaves customers unsure of what to expect. I hope they focus on providing more consistent and attentive customer service to enhance the overall shopping experience.
