I was a little wary of this location since I’ve read some of the reviews, but I stopped by after I went to Costco (I stopped by before noon).The two ladies (the one who helped me find the slippers and the one who cashed me out) were both so friendly and helpful! Also, there was quite a bit of traffic in the store so they were juggling multiple customers at once but maintaining their friendly demeanours.

Very upset that I ordered online and their sizing was unclear. I noticed a mistake within an hour of placing the order and they refused to cancel the order and sent it anyway. Now, to return it they want me to pay for shipping. As we've seen in other reviews for this organization returns are like pulling teeth. If you're going to buy from them go in to the store and make sure you're getting what you want before purchase but, if you can buy it somewhere else do it. Such a low score because I kind of feel played and a little bullied since they didn't honour my order cancellation.

All "NEGATIVE" reviews from individual customers are true. I have encountered same attitude from the old lady and her brown lady assistant. First encounter with them no hi or HELLo, stoned face, showed no interest to assist people etc. Second encounter, after tracking my order, UPS stated that item was delivered and received by a certain Susan and went 2 days after to pick up just to be told it's not there yet infuriated me... and they never notified me from there on putting my order on hold for 9 business days since it was delivered to them which is unfair because they already took my money from the very first day. Shame on those people. To avoid this encounter with them I would never visit that store in Kingston anymore for my family needs.Sorry but I'm not dealing with you people again. If ever, I'll go straight to the main office and insist they do something with you before people stop patronizing SOFTMOC.
