They have some absurd rules. I returned an item 6 months back and, just because I missed the 30-day return window by 2 days - without any flexibility - they gave me a merchandise card. They assured me that this card could be used for purchasing ANY item in the store. Fast forward to today, when I tried to buy 2 gift cards for teachers using the merchandise card, I discovered that it couldn't be used to buy gift cards.
They ask me to use the card to be toiletries from their store instead which are priced so steep, I’d rather not!
Time to step up their flexibility game..

I’m extremely disappointed with the customer service at this Staples location. Every time I visit, I experience long wait times and a complete lack of acknowledgment from staff. No one seems willing to help or even offer basic guidance.
Most recently, I came in to print a single page. I was told it couldn’t be done until the next day — no one bothered to inform me that I could email the file and use the self-service printer. I only found out afterward that this was even an option.
The staff at the counter, including someone named Dhruv, failed to provide proper customer service. There was no effort to assist or even acknowledge my presence beyond the bare minimum.
This has been a recurring problem, not a one-time issue. Staples should seriously reconsider how they train their staff and manage customer interactions. I expect better from a national brand.

After reviewing the advertised deal “ Scan 300 photos for just $99.” I dropped off photos for Staples 46 in Ajax to scan to a jump drive. I was told I’d receive a call once the scanned photos were ready for pick up. After a week, I called the store and was told my package had arrived. I brushed off the fact that no one called to advise me and went right into the Ajax location. Upon arrival I noticed there was no jump drive included with my original photos and was told no one knew why they hadn’t been scanned. The associate asked the Manager -Jess - for help and she provided anything but that. She easily dismissed my predicament and advised there was no answer when she “called” in to get information regarding my order. The bottom line is Jess didn’t seem interested in helping me at all even after I told her I was willing to wait while she looked for answers. I’m confident the order wasn’t processed at all - the box of photos I received upon pick up was packaged exactly the way I left it over a week ago. I also wasn’t given any assurance from Jess or the associate that the package was sent out. After requesting a refund - and nothing else for wasting my time - Jess actually charged the original amount to my card resulting in more time wasted having to process two refunds. What happened when I dropped the pictures off? What a disappointment.

got post cards printed only 12 , front desk wouldn't cut and said to come next day . paid extra for express service already ... would have taken less than 5 mins to cut . not impressed

I'd give a zero star if possible. Mike, the manager is an arrogant misogynist. Lazy, rude and insulting to customers. The store was empty and he refused to have someone bring out my curbside order because they were " too busy". I walked in the store to find 2 employees and Mike himself, just standing around. When I tried to explain my frustration on the phone with the terribly outdated system, he just kept interrupting and eventually hung up on me. I will be reporting his atrocious behavior to head office. He clearly has ego and anger issues and should not be in management. No wonder why staples is 1 step away from being obsolete. Mike is a terrible example of customer service.

Went here to make a few coloured copies. Nothing big. Printed 25 copies. The first few were great, but then the words on the remaining ones started blurring together making it very difficult to read. Asked for help, one male worker responsed "the lady behind the desk will help you". The male worker did not even make eye contact but said this as he walked away. Went to the desk where the lady was. The women refused to acknowledge that I was there despite me making noise. After having boxes placed infront of my face and being ignored I went back to my copier. That's when I realized it logged me out, but did not print a receipt. I left this store with a few good copies (4) that cost about $15 and 30 mins of my time. Will not return to this store. Definitely need to retrain staff or hired new ones.

This location is busy, but the staff is able to keep up. I've used their PCs and self-serve printers, it's costly, but it'll have to do when you need it. There is plenty of parking.
