A huge number of vendors each with their own area makes for variety, but huge variation in prices. Almonte is full of antique shops, but I recommend you start with this one.

Instead of saying that they are closed when we are in upstairs, she asked us "you didn't realized we are closed when light is gone?". Even didn't say a word related to closing hours. How we supposed to know?

OK. So today's treasures:1)Pyrex butter dish. Probably not what it was for but in my house growing up this fridgesmart w/o the lid (in pale mint green being washed 75 million times) I hope is this the closest match.2)dachshund planter from Japan. Seen on multiple dachshund groups and weird secondhand finds that need to be shared. Never dreamed I would find one much less own it!3) dachshund salt and pepper shakers. Also seen on above sites. Another unicorn found in the wild.4) British comic growing up. Crazy fan of Dennis the menace/gnasher/beano. Had to buy it.Personally told the staff to thank EVERY vendor of this amazing, fascinating store to thank them for giving me a piece of happiness, childhood memory and just joy and satisfaction looking around. I could spend all day in this store! Will definitely be back.

Love this place! Two stories of fun filled nostalgia collectibles. You can get lost in here for hours and it wouldn't be a bad thing at all.

This antique store has a pretty good variety of things and plenty of old tools which is what I mainly seek out. However I feel like the prices have gone up in the past few months as before there used to be good deals but not anymore. Still I think it’s worth a visit as it is decently sized and Almonte is a very pretty town.
